IF your wanting to have a mother and then clone her i would let her get big as hell maybe a couple more weeks to where you can get a good number of clones without stripping your mommy of everything.

the bat guano works well with any nute, or alone it`s not a fox farm secret thing.

Sux on the death of your plants djMesh. i'll check for some guano when i go back to the grow store.

Things seem to be moving pretty smooth after the transplant- Plants are growing 1-2 inches a day. (too fast-short ceiling lol) Plants are all now 15 inch minimum- 20 inches for the biggest. GOnn ride it out till they get nice n fluffy.

And in the meantime work out some issues with cloning. They look pretty rough. *rolls eyes*

OK i have the poly up in half the room. I will probably enclose half of the room once i go to lumber supply store.

My clones are. well. i need to give it another try lol. And any advice about what went wrong here would be helpful. Gonna read on that now.

Basically I put them in rock wool with root hormone and left them in box, with heating pad underneath, opening it a few times to spray.... and well u see the results.

start get the light closer to plants. and second did you by chance clone the fan leaves or from the main branch? those look like thier just a single leaf.

How to Grow Great Marijuana says to take all the leaflets on your new clone and cut them in half. So if you're looking at the leaflet and it's oriented facing up, cut across them all, using a pair of really sharp scissors/shears. It looks like there's too much foliage still on them. Apparently this helps signal the plant to concentrate on rooting. The book also says to scrape the bottom 1/4" of the stem with a razorblade. The scarification helps create more surface area for roots to grow out of. I used these techniques on my first every cloning yesterday. I'll let you know in a week how many have rooted.

i do that exact method and my sucsess rate for clones has been 200 clones taken from 2 moms and 190 survival.

Here they are about a n hour or two after cloning with process below:

I soaked rockwool cubes in pH 5 water 24 HR. shook excess water off them added 25mL solution of pH 5.8 (35% H202 9mL to 2.5 gallons chlorine free tap water)

Then i cut bottom branches from mother at 45 degree angle, removed lower leafs, scraped lower inch, sliced center of stem tip, dipped in powdered root hormone, placed in rockwool, put on plate, 4ft under 1000W MH.

I could use some feedback asap as plants look pretty droopy... which is far from encouraging.

Not sure whether I should cut the leaves in half as you mentioned, or trim back more leaves- OR BOTH.

THANKS!

ya you could cut the leaves it will help the root growth instead of leaf growth. sometimes they wont look that good at first but will come back

thats why i said to wet that will make em droop. just cover with dome and open a few times a day. dont spray till they dry a bit. them just mist a bit once or twice a day. if they droop back off the spray. i`ll keep watching this

right- I shook off the cubes off excess water- after soaking them. but them when i added the solution they became super saturated again...

I cut the leaves in half. i was just concerned that they are so droopy and wondering if can do something to unwater them? will the dome help to remove water from them?

the dome will keep the humidity up high so you wont need to water as much. just cover and let dry a day or so. look tomorow and 24 hour light and keep light close, but dont burn. iv`e had the same problem in the past and i just left them a couple days and they came around.

ok cool- thanks- i was just worried that if i didn't do something the stems would break for being so heavy with water

Hmmm possibly? one is coming around but the other two have made no progress.... However- they each seem to be growing a lil root. *crosses fingers*

I just wish they didn't look soooooo rough.
