sorry for the dumb question but I know nothing about hydro, when you take clones, how do you do it? 2 inch rockwool wait to root then put that rockwool into a bigger rockwool cube?

that way you described or take cuts into an aeroponic ez-kloner straight into hydroton works better I think. that way will work tho pretty well.

PPM's and PH change in my well water. I would think city would be more consistent, but kno tellin what may get added. Do you bubble your Rez?

If it is a large problem I would look into a nute line that worked with a large PH window. Seems like Ionic runs from 5.3 to 7.0.

Advanced Nutrients has ph Perfect products. Ya, it costs a lot.
I did a whole run and filled my barrel with my garden hose every time.
Added 75% of the nutes they recommended and never used a ph or ppm pen.
If I had problems, that would have made them lying bitches regardless of anything.
It worked beautifully.
I lost track of figures cuz of shear holiday chaos but I am pretty fucking sure that I
comfortably hit a gram per watt. I didn't fuck with anything. I didn't add 1 extra bullshit ingredient either.

I use straight well water too, and that botanicare line minus the cal mag, is perfectly ph balanced for my water. I was shocked. I don't need a drop of down, and usually I need a TON of it. I'm thinking about changing over for the next run in the big system, away from H & G. We'll see.

Like Man said I'm on city water.. I use Dyna-Grow line using Lucas formula.... Bloom/.Mag-Pro./Pro-Tekt... I myself havn't used PPM pen much along with PH and havn't had issues for 2 years.. Then all the sudden WHAM... My Veg tent was hurting bad.. I had no clue what was happening. I tried everything... Like I said b4 I dont use my pens often, well turns out my PH pen was 1.5* out of whack... I purchased a new COSTLY PH pen and now test daily and things are going a lot better. But it amazes me how fast things are swinging.. My Rez goes from 6.0 to 4.3 in 2 days.. PH up has become my friend...

Are you gettin salt build-up? More now? How about in your bottle of dyna? I quit using it years ago due to salt crystals in the jug.

Now that u hav a pen? Check your plain tap water. Fresh, after a day,and bubbled. Isolate where the drift is coming from.

I used the supposed Lamborghini of Hydro systems "The Under Current System" DWC! It was my first Hydro go around with a good 6 years of growing under my belt in soil. Needless to say the system sucked D#$k's in hell, actually bags of dicks in hell! And the Rastafarian Barack Obama Look alike that sold me the system was the biggest dick captain after he had my money!

I had constant PH swings. I was told that Micro nutes and additives can cause this in you res., do to the chemical reactions they have with one another once all additives began to circulate together in your res.

Note: also cheap ph pens like the blue Milwaukee, and the Primo TDS. meter have worked way better then any high end pen I've had.

Note: all meters must be cleaned, calibrated, and the electrode portion of the pen kept in storage solution aka calibration solution.

Not really. I grab some 3/4 inch 90's for the end buckets. They just give you caps for the T's.

The titian is a solid system. Plug n play. I wish I had a couple of em instead the capcom shit I hav.
thats a good idea i was thinking mabe air stones in each bucket timer with floood cycles .only thing i dont really like is the water left after recovery .over all a good system you can get 8 10 oz per easy

Yeah I've thought of the air stone thing. A guy did it with a cap system and finally quit. To much hassle and no desernable advantage. Air stones in the Rez? Sure.

I hav also thought about adding a pump for an under current type addition. But so far I am seein no big difference with my UC experiments. Space and power may be why not.
