i was going to tie this one down... but i love the classic look of the plant and just letting nature do its thing. my plant is 32 inches now and has numerous bud sites. its starting to smell now, and it is getting the frosty look on the leaves around the buds. heres an update with pics.

oh yea... i added a 70W hps just for a little exta. it flowered my last plant pretty much by itself. so i now got 320W of HPS power. it should be enough for what i want. ill be happy with an oz. today marks day 19 of flowering.

day 24 of flowering. its now 33-34 inches tall so the growing has substantially slowed down. quick question, would now be a good time for the beastie bloomz? or should i continue with big bloom? i also used grow big in the beginning.

heres the top cola...

a red hair i noticed pretty low down on the main stem.

and this is about half way down the main stem.

Lookin killer. If it's not too much trouble could we get a wider shot of the top of the plant? That's where a good part of your yield is going to come from and I would just like to see what you're working with. If it were me I would use the beastie bloomz starting at the beginning of week 4 (day 29), so pretty soon now. This link might help you. http://www.advancednutrients.com/nutcalc3public/ It helped me understand the life cycle of the plant much better. All it is is a feeding schedule but it shows how you are supposed to vary the levels throughout flower. See how it is a curve that peaks in weeks 4 and 5? (I'm looking at it set to "medium feeding") This is obviously not your brand of nutes but the principle is the same. For this line the bloom booster is called Overdrive instead of Beastie Bloomz. So at day 29 you want to cut your base nute (big bloom) by 1/4 and add in the booster. You now have a two part base with the goal of raising P and especially K levels through the roof.

So short answer... In five days start using 3/4 the strength of big bloom you are using now and add the beastie bloomz to label strength. This will be strongest feeding week of the flower cycle. Decrease gradually until flushing with plain water only for the last 10-14 days before harvest.

:bigjoint:im following this grow and im growing bubblicious. week 2 flower
You are growing Nirvana Bubblicious? I've been growing this strain for four months. Smoking some right now as a matter of fact. I love it :bigjoint: Be careful though. It's a stinker. Well worth it for the flavor that comes through after curing. But if you have more than one or two plants you should look into odor control. Good luck.

i got my seeds from "buydutchseeds" and how is the smoke?

Yea man, the seedbank you buy from really isn't important but who the breeder is matters most. Like it doesn't matter whether I buy a playstation at walmart or best buy, but it is important that it is made by Sony. Probably not the best analogy but you get the idea - the seedbank is just a middleman.

Anyway I think Nirvana is the only breeder that uses the name "bubblicious" and not "bubblegum" so that's probably what you have. I wrote a review in the smoke report section on this forum along with my other strains but bubblicious has a really unique flavor that I love. There really is a Bazooka Joe aftertaste, especially if exhaled through the nose. It is great. As I said the smell is quite strong too. While growing it is pretty skunky but also with flowery smells like roses or daffodils. Dried and in the bag it smells more like dog shit which may sound bad but if you smelled it you would know it's the CHRON!!!!!

I understand exactly what you are talking about and I found out from my brother that it is a Nirvana Strain and I will check out your grow journal. :weed:

I have a homebox xs with a 400 watt hps that I'm using for clone mothers. I would like to see what you can do with the space that Large. Just does not seem like you need all that height unless you run hydro.

Awesome, you really are a good photographer. Those are just the angles I wanted to see. Those top four or five budsites should get bigger and bigger until they form one big cola. It's gonna be sweet! Your plant looks great. Good job!
