I was just joking. I'm still trying to decide which beans to pop. Would you recommend auto for a newbie or do you think I should go with a photoperiod strain.

I would never recommend an auto, period. I may recommend strains with ruderalis in its lineage but I will never ever tell you to go anything other than photo. Cannabis is just like any other plant, give it a few runs and you will be good. Less is always more, if you don't feed enough you can always put a little more in the next mix. If you over feed you ruin the taste, smell, appearance and risk burning the crop to shit.
Just pick up a pack of some of the cheaper seeds like from NGR and just do it. Also hit the books, even though I don't learn from reading alone it gives you a backup to always go back to if you have an issue. Forums are not the way to go in a time crunch and a simple brush of the pages and you have the info you need.

buy a cheaper pack of seeds 45-60 bucks ( www.naturesgreenremedies.com ) is the site I use now since the attitude and seedsman don't take mastercard.look up "Lucas Formula"(http://lucasformula.com/) or "Peters Classic"(http://www.jrpeters.com/Products/Jack-s-Classic.html)plant yer seeds in some root riots if you want (just google root riot cubes)ask questions along the way if needed

If you follow the lucas formula, keep your lights proper height, keep the temperature in reasonable ranges and give them 12-13 full hours of darkness you will have some good smoke. Trust me on that! Oh and I suppose you should add cal mag to the list of stuff you might need. I use tap water which is only 45 ppm so I add epsom salt to make up for the magnesium. But cal mag works perfect too.

Man dutch treat looks good, i ended up looking up the strain just because its the second time i hear of it. Hows your grow space can you only do one at a time? I think next time im gonna get some nebula seeds from her, i smoked it once and it was crazy good the buds were amazing.

I have room for 3-4 plants if i keep them small but I can expand my grow area if need be. Ive looked up that a and buddhas dream and they both look and sound tasty. After debating with myself all night I made you my mind on my starters. 3 buddas dream fem 2 coco kush reg and 2 mango reg. Don't know how it will turn out but I should have at least 3 females in the mix.

Not trying to dose down your comment but auto strains Do have ruderrails lineage thats what makes them flower on there own regardless how long they receive light.

Nice your lucky i only got room for one maybe two if i cram em in there haha your probably gonna have more than three females bro, if the 3 budda dream pop most likelt you will. But who knows the odds on regular can not always be in your favor i known this from expeience once had 6 seeds only got 2 females

I hope that I get at least 1 female out of the regs. Just checked my beans and 3 of the seven have sunk. T5s are readt to see some action. My 400 HP's is old and the ballast is making noise. May buy another one as I am afraid of burning down the place. I'll have to wait a while on that. Wine tastes and a beer budget. I spent my extra money on a 300 watt viper led.

Sounds like the start of something great. Im stoked to see your grow but i cant see your journal. Hmm i think some ballast with time make noise but thats good...play it safe and you wont need a hps till you switch to flower. Nice im planning on using leds very soon i feel my new grow room would get waaaay too hot

I guess we are little fish in a big pond still. I can't see yours either. I wanted more light but don't have a real good exhaust so I was going to supplement my HP's with the led. I may just use the T5 and the led for this grow. I don't want to take a chance on burning my house down with that ballast making noise. May have enough money to get another 400 before I switch to 12/12.

Looks like we are my friend. You should be fine running your t5 and the led plus hps are best for the bloom cycle you want a metal halide for veg but both hps and mh put out more heat so its pretty ideal to have the t5 and led. Less heat and less money on your power bill!

If you are getting shit plants then you are purchasing them through a shit breeder with bad genetics. Every order has made it to my doorstep in two weeks or less. If you are having trouble with customs you can order from a company inside the US of A but you will be paying top dollar.

Shes doing good man, shes about to grow her real set of leaves i been giving her water with great white in it, it some type of micobial stuff that makes fungus on the roots that help build root mass its my first time using it but i heard its real good stuff you just gotta use it from the time its a seedling to have good effect becuase it takes time for fungus to grow and colonize at the root. What about you any signs of life yet???
