I have 2 plants flowering I have a 1000 watt hps lamp on and 5 cfl should I keep the cfl

No Offence dude Plant looks screwed Iv grown better under just 50 watts of cfl

I'm no expert do wait for some pros to tell ya what to do

Those plants look very lanky and under-watered.

Anyway, I'd lose the CFLs with a 1kw, and such few plants.

As someone else said, please don't cross-post the same question across multiple forums.

It is my first grow and my brother said to take the big leafs off so I did did I do the wrong thing

I believe you did wrong, I am in my opinion not a fan of taking leaves out, if you have big fan leaves that are shading some of the lower stuff that's where your cfl's come into play...


Looks like yu might have shed off some of the lower colas

U really need to read up on growing b4 ur next grow those plants look depressed I researched for 6 months b4 I even started buying my equipment looks like u just jumped n2 it I'm not tryn to talk shit but I'm just saying everything u need to know is on the net u just gotta b willing to look for it

You should just save the 1k bulb and finish those under the cfl bulbs.. better luck next time.. btw, there's a wealth of knowledge here. Read up and quit listening to your brother
