Help please

I just bought a purple kush clone it was put into the oasis medium, and had a nice set of roots going. i potted it into supersoil potting soil then watered. i water slowly until a constant drip then i let the container sit in the runoff for 10 minutes then let it stop dripping then put it back in its place. im usig terra cotta.

the question is should i be waterting more often cause of the oasis?

i watered day before yesterday and the soil was pretty dry this morning i did other transplants the same day of less maturity and same soil but i still havnt had to water them.

for starters and for future reference.... never start you post off with a title like "Help please". you will not get any responses. but since im feeling like a nice guy i might be able to help! do you have any pics you can post up here? is the soil dry on the top or throughout the entire pot? my biggest piece of advice for you is to go to your local hardware store/garden shop and purchase a moisture wand. It's the easiest way to decifer when you should be watering your plants. you should be watering your plants every 2 - 3 days.. give the roots a day or two inbetween to take in all this water so they dont become suffocated with h2o! otherwise you will experience root rot which will kill your crop or stunt the plants growth! perhaps the strain itself takes in a less amount of water than the others! when planting your girls into pots.. try this! layer of soil on the bottom, a layer about an inch thick of rocks/stones then a layer of soil and perlite on top of the rocks... this will create better drainage for your plants, hope this helps! good luck

water when your soil is dry. stick your finger in the soilup to the 2nd knuckle and if its dry water.

i water when needed, could a pesticide cause anything, i used pestout a week ago then used insectiidal soap 2 days ago, there are onle 4 leaves throughout differents spots of the plant where the are burn looking spots on the very tips of the teeth on each leafs 3 days since i noticed aything and still no changes i did flush today, see what it does, i am going along with the sugar peak plan formed by hydro-organics it says to use every watering "so i did"
im using cfls like 3 inces away i dont feel heat stress is in play.

did youspray with the lights on. if you have any droplets on your leaves it will cause it to burn.

I did spray with lights on i try to shake of the excess. Looks like the problem right there, after flushing the leves are starting to look happy again.

just watch them like your doing.good luck

is it stupid to clean the soil from the roots then replant into coco. My purple kush is the one i thought about doin it to, im getting ready to take it from a 1/2 gal. pot and putting it in a 3. I would like to go coco and want to get rid of the soil.
