Have made a small pc grow box

So I shouldn't use 1/2 MG potting soil and 1/2 perlite mix? Can someone tell me what kind of soil to get to start my seeds off in? I need to go to home Depot

without the lights or fans its between 70-75. With lights and fans (the last time I did a dry run) it was 78-82 degrees. Does that sound good? Also Not sure on how much light a day to be giving my autoflower lowrider

I would not use MG of any type. IMHO

If you can't get Fox Farms Ocen Forrest mix your own. I've never mixed my own but many people swear by it.

As long as you can keep your temps below 85 your good. I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT AFLR but 18/6 would work.

I am going to Home depot to get little cups to start the plants in and also try to find that Fox Farms Ocen Forrest. I checked the seeds a couple hours ago it's looking promising 4/5 seeds all for sure are starting to germinate, white root and all! I can't wait to check em in the morning. We'll see if that last seed catches up.

So should I plant all of the seeds and only keep the female when they start showing signs of sex?

wow your pc grow box is giving me some really rockin ideas : D thanks alot for sharing. ill be sure to keep a journal when i start mine

Glad to inspire someone. The PC box to be honest was a PAIN IN THE ASS to build. I hope it turns out worth it :joint: I couldn't help but the check the seeds again the tails are getting longer!! Is there a way to tell sex from when they are seeds?

also I couldn't find Fox Farms Ocen Forrest, where did you get it? Or can someone tell me a suitable soil to start my seeds in I may need to plant them tomorrow! I was planning on using a mix I made of 1/2 Miricle grow potting soil and 1/2 perlite. If someone has a mixture suggestion let me know please!!

Ok i am planting the seeds today. I couldn't find fox farm ocean fresh so I got and organic soil call happy frog. I am unsure of how to start. Do I just plant the seeds and throw some water on them and fire up the grow box? Or should I not be turning the lights on

And how much water should I be giving my seedlings I only put a little h20 in the dirt I planted them in and I already went ahead and started the growing process in my pc. Here's hoping! how long should I leave the lights on I have no idea and its an autoflower lowryder

Kinda freaking out. Not sure if I am starting this right. I have one cfl 100watts goin covered to dim the light and all 5 of me germinated seeds in the pc box. It is 79 degrees in the box. Are these the right conitions for the seed to break the surface? For the first 8 hours I had them in full light. Which is 3 cfls nodimming. Then I read you shouldn't put them on full light till they have broken the surface. Hope I didn't ruin my seeds I am stressing. Will someone respond
