Have made a small pc grow box

Looking to start my first grow. I am super excited. I have made a small PC grow box kinda alittle ghetto but it should work just fine. I am MOST DEFF a newbie to growing. I bought 4 100W CFL lights running about 1400 lumens each. they are the daylight kind. Would these be the right bulbs to start with for vegging. I am really new to the growing termenolagy so be nice to me. my box is about 18 inches tall I will take some pics of it for my next post

I seem to be able to only fit 3 bulbs that size in the pc box at one time. IS that enough. Also it is consistantly 80 degrees in the box is this a good temerature for plants?

bought some lowryder seeds for my first PC grow from http://www.buydutchseeds.com. I really hope they are good seeds and Really want a female. wish someone could answer some of my questions

80* perrfect !!!!! just keep it there dont let it raise about 90* then your leaves will turn yellow !

glad someone finally responded to my grow journal. I hope my seeds get here soon it could be up to 3 weeks I hope it only takes a week and a half! I am so impatient I want to start now. Is a half ounce a realistic expectation in a 18 inch case with some lst training on the lowryder strain?

I have a pc hydro grow box when i started it i just went down to my local hydroponics store and asked all the questions.... they told me to use 6000 lumens for veg and abt 1200 for budding i found a 5400 lumens CFL at home depot and called it good my box is now full and i really need to switch bulbs but have been way to busy to get back to the store so my one suggestion is have everthing ready before you start!

would it be best to have a few plants going so I have more of a chance of at least one being a female? Also what is bad about hermies? My lowryder seeds have been shipped I hope they hurry up!

Just got my 10 lowrider seeds in the mail ready to start germanating! I am mixing 1/2 miricle grow potting soil with 1/2 perlite would this be okay for them? i also have 3 100 watt cfls running 1400 lumens each will this be enough for my small bow. This lowrider is an autoflower

I have 5 of the seeds in a moist paper towel with a bowl covering them. Here's hoping I am super nervous, they were spendy :S

Some use miracle grow, but I suggest Fox Farm Ocean Forest.. used on seedlings, babies, clones and NEVER had a problem. 3 CFLs should be alright but the more the better, as long as heat is under control. Lookin forward to seeing these lowryders./ good luck

Just hope they germinate I am feeling good vibes. Hopefully ill get a lady. I wanted to do 4 cfls but the 4th one wont really fit. Since I am confined on heighth I am going to put in a shelf for lst training .

I think they are starting to germinate!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOO some of the seeds seem to be slitting open just barely and on one of them I swear to god I see a small white dot starting to poke out of the crack! I am sooooooo excited

Do not plant seedlings or newly rooted clones in MG pre-fertilized soil, you will burn the seedlings up. Get a soil that has no pre-mixed nutrients and feed when plants are established in their pots.

While we wait on the seeds to crack. Why don't you fire up the Grow case and do a dry run to see what the temps will be like.
