read both sticky's that were suggested before me......very good info. but curing is done AFTER the buds are hung to dry for about 4-7 days depending on your conditions.

Well, the slower the dry/ cure, the better, but 2 weeks just for the drying and you risk mold. It would have to be in a very humid environment for a 2 week dry.

2 weeks is a bit long.....unless you have really high humidity(which risks bud mold) 7 days should be plenty....if they dry out completely the quality will be shot, and even curing wont be able to fix it. i have a small plant that i let dry for 4 days....and its still a bit moist. the bigger the buds and stems the longer they'll take to dry.

great conditions for a slow even dry is 60-70 degrees and 35-45 percent humidity. when the stems bend but dont break in half put your buds in the jars to cure. and wait for the goodnessbongsmilie

as soon as you cut your plants, put them in an air tight jar and dont open it for about a month. then they should be nice and ripe.....

Not good advice. After cutting dry 4-7 days, then start curing. Not for a month straight with the lid closed either. You will have to burp them for the first little bit. Once you are done with your initial dryécure then you can leave them all closed up for months, even years. Otherwise they will mold.
