Well, a new wrench thrown into the decision making process. First, the Hulk is taking to the manifold like a champ. stretching perfect to be able to hook between nodes, etc.

But you might see an issue in the group photo

The Skywalker is apparently too stocky to bother with a manifold, there is just no stretch, and NO flexibility.
I was not even hooking them yet, and was gently prying the two tops apart - and one snapped off.

So now I have one that looks like I can veg-manifold for a while longer, and might end up an 8-top, and one that I'm ready to flip and say to hell with it so I can go ahead and try some of that strain sooner. Since I have more seeds of each, next grow will be better planned, and having two strains ready to try sooner sounds better and better.
I am already having height issues with the NL because of that damned raised floor in the flower room, so I am just flipping everything tonight at 7 when the lights come on. I can pull the NL back into this room and have more height for these, and more room for the 4 crowded skunk plants. Then as soon as the contest plants harvest I can rip that room apart and fix it.
