lol just went and got a new 85w cost 50.00 the replacement bulbs are 14.00. I just figure more watts less lights. the 85w is 6400k I don't have the lumas yet. I do like that light bar set up it looks like it gets better use of the bulbs.

I paid 7.78(blue) 6.88 (red) a pack a walmart...With ballast comes probs, had the big CFL and they do put out heat, so make sure you have a couple of fans. I even had to put a window unit in to keep it cool, then we switched to the smaller CFL and a big fan and one small clip on fan.
or u can get 42 watt cfls for around 8 bucks a pop at target. not wal-mart there like 9 bucks there.:peace:

ive checked out the 42w at my local menards and they were about 20 bucks a pop but i thought the price was worth is for a regular fixture fitting also they only came in the red spectrum bulbs so id only b able to use them for my flowering stage wat u think would do good for flowering? like 2 42w's and 3 23w's all red spectrum?

the fixture( bathroom vanity) were bought at Lowes for 9.98. The total price of all the material ((lights(walmart), Fixtures(lowes), Reflective material (walmart $1.50) )) was about 50.00 to 60.00 dollars.

I have 3 flower fixtures with a total of 15 lights with 12 Red and 3 Blue. While the veg is 6 to 12 lights (depends how big the grow is). With 10 blue and 2 red.

OK man pull the light away from the plant. Mine did the same thing becuase of the light being to close. And if ya know how to FLUSH the soil do do, becuase you might have nute burn. When mine did it we FLUSHED and just fed it with water the next couple of times. Also are you using time released soil or regular ?...

regular organic soil no nutes in the soil added a 1/4th strength miracle grow the first month and a half and iv been waterin with a 1/8th strength of bloom burst since i had to transplant to a bigger pot cuz the last one got it root bound so if i pull bak the lights and flush the system itd b ok?
