Im still a noob so dont quote me, but I would say you have enough for veg, although you may want to beef up a bit more on lights for flowering
I currently have 4 plants vegging under 4 23w daylight cfl's and they seem happy as can be. I'll be adding 2 42w T8's and 4 23w 2700k cfl's for flowering
Hope that helps, and hope some longtime growers come in to correct any bad advice I may be giving
Good luck!

it depends on how far you plan on going into veg. & in some instances, the size of your grow space. for a small plant in a small area thats fine. i got 2 26w daylights on a clone from 1 of my plants from my 1st grow which i am still currently in, that is now nine inches tall (was about 4"). i just added the second bulb last week. its in a small area so light doesn't get very far.....now her mother on the other hand is a beast & no way those 3 lights would work by themselves..hell, i have 2-42's & 4-23's on her now & i know thats nowhere near enuff.

i was thinking along the lines of maybe 4 more 42's & 4 more 23's...what you think ?

you cant see them in the pic, but there are 2 42w bulbs hanging over top the of ole gal.

Here ya go some pics of my CFL grow
VEG Room

Hard to see but we have 15 CFL's which help our 7 plants in our LIL closet. To let ya know use the reflective material (Walmart has it in outdoor section) it works wonders for the plants.

Mitsu, where did you get those light fixtures? Average home improvement store? They look perfect. Cost wise it only makes sense for me to flower with an HPS. But for vegging everyone really seems to say use the 6000-6500k light spectrum, which only comes in CFL. So I think for vegging I want a bunch of CFLs on a fixture just like that :)

the fixture( bathroom vanity) were bought at Lowes for 9.98. The total price of all the material ((lights(walmart), Fixtures(lowes), Reflective material (walmart $1.50) )) was about 50.00 to 60.00 dollars.

I have 3 flower fixtures with a total of 15 lights with 12 Red and 3 Blue. While the veg is 6 to 12 lights (depends how big the grow is). With 10 blue and 2 red.

depends on how much space you have my first plant was about 5 ft tall. For one plant I would go with 5 bulbs. 2 small 23 watt on each end and 1 42 Watt in the middle.

Look like this
b (23 watt) b (23 watt)
R(42 watt)

b (23 watt) b (23 watt)
I have always been told you can never have enough light. Just remember to watch ur temp if ya have a small space. Mine (temp) runs about 78 to 85 degrees with a breeze..

well i have a lil problem wen i close up my space it gets a lil warmer up to like 88 sumtimes but it rarely gets below 78 and the humidity goes crazy it jumps from 50 to 80 wen the lights go out should i b worried bout that? o and im haven a problem with it wilting im not sure wat it is tho the leaves are nice and thick but they seem to droop iv also noticed that im gettin yellow underleaves the ones that have been there for awhile not sure wat thats all about eithr

what nutes u useing and have u used Superthrive. Its works wonders for the plant.
If it hits 88 u might need to get a one or two clip on fans. Yellow underleaves could be many things, sounds to me like nute burn.

yea it looks like your using all 3500k bulbf for veg....u should stick some 6000k bulbs in there bro....and some kind of mcguyvered reflectoe...i even think an hid reflector would work over one of those vanity bars

save your pennys and get your self a couple of 85w cfl's. they cost about 60 bucks because the fixture is a ballast but you can't beat the light output
