You sure it was a real cut? Could it be proven? Did it look like my pic's? I'm a HEAVY smoker....and real GSC knocks me on my ass. The hype behind it is real....the ammount of bandwagon growers getting shitty fakes and labeling them as real cuts is yes, we-tod-ed.

The place in San Jose selling them for $800 are definitely real. It's a really really really good pheno of it too.

That's way to vague of a question. People aren't even smoking the real GSC. All kinds of collectives in So Cal are claiming they have the real deal but they don't. I know what it looks like through and through, I turn around and walk out.

The real smoke is top notch shit. Granted, it must be grown properly (they are tricky bitches too).
I think Berner did good on this, you have a cross of African, Purple, and Kush.....it was done with thought and it was done right.

One clone will do you good when grown well obviously. GSC is flying off the glass counters around here.

I have 9-10 seeds I'm trying to figure out what to do with...

The crosses are everywhere I just bought a half zone of " Purple Platinum GSC " which sounds like girl scout cookies x Platinum Kush ? Cherry Pie is better in my opinion

Granny Purps in Santa Cruz has about 30 cuts for $40 each today. I'm thinking about getting one. It's amazing to think that at $40 a 4000% markup from the cost of making the clone (about $1) somehow seems like a good deal compared to the $800 price tag over the hill. My buddy says it's all hype, and says he can get me a cut from his friend up in SF anyway. In his words, the bubble will burst when everyone realizes it's still just herb. Even so, I can't decide if I should go spend $40 on a cut or not. I already have more strains than I need.

It's an awesome deal. You're not buying a plant, you're buying a strain. It's not just the act of cutting that clone that makes it that price, it's acquiring the strain. I picked up 2 from there yesterday.

Well he's right. It's totally a fad. It's damn good bud and all, but it's not some epic amazing new super bud or anything. It's just good herb. 2 years from now GSC will be at every dispensary and people will get bored of it and move on to something else. That's how it goes.

Just look at blue dream and green crack. IMO those are two of the best all around strains out there. But everyone is bored of them because everyone in northern California was growing them for years. Same thing will happen with GSC. All this has happened before and all this will happen again.

I decided to go ahead and pick one up. Felt like I would be kicking myself if I didn't. I'm not taking in any new strains for the next year though, unless something major happens.

They said the clones came from Harborside, so I'm assuming that the cuts are legit.
