girl scout cookies

I loved Green Crack but can't grow it for shit. Blue Dream was awesome but evaded me this season and GSC will have to wait for me. I want to grow it but I am too busy with a wedding 96 days away I don't want to take any new plants on! I will just wait till Dan harvests and slide over to that club when it's done.

I just don't have the connections in the community to get some of these cuts. And every time I have obtained clones from a club they had mites or mildew. So I have stuck with seeds, and have found some keepers over the years, but dang, I sure would love a nice cut of GSC or Blue Dream or Strawberry Cough!

Currently I have a very nice cut of Northern Lights I have had for a very long time, and two nice phenos of Gage Green Genetic's Leia OG I grew from seed and have been cloning. I have a still young L.A. Confidential in the veg room that I am growing from seed.

Like many I dream of chucking a little pollen and lucking into something special. Of finding that next big fad. But I am realistic, so I work on improving my growing, drying, and curing techniques instead of chucking pollen. Still... I'd love to find a nice male to cross with my NL.

Well that isn't true, but it's close. It comes from a guy who cuts clones for harborside. That didn't particularly impress me. But at $40 it's worth the gamble IMO.

So, what's the general yield like with GSC anyway?

My greenhouses are still vegging and I just rooted the ones I'm trying indoor, so I don't know.

I've met people who run them who claim to be pushing a g per watt with them, and then others (legit pros) who say they are having trouble getting 0.5 g's per watt. Conflicting info, so idk.

The $800 one is an amazing pheno. If they drop the price any more I'd be tempted to pick one up. Big fat buds, lots of color, pure cookies flavor. I think I'd pay $400 for it, but I have 6 different varieties of it at this point so I want to see how they work out first.

It's most definitely not clone only. I've got it in seed form.

If it's not clone only, why is it rare? Seems like anyone could make the seeds pretty easy. Why aren't any banks selling seeds?

I heard the clone only GSC was the real deal, I know there are a lot of fakes out there

i have 2 cookie clones one for sure cookies it is super frost everywhere even the stems its 1 week flower but im revegin it to get it bigger and get cuts

I'm almost to the point of dropping some serious money on one of these elite cuts just to get some shit that will be much easier to get rid of.

I'm going to see how my phenos put out. If I'm not happy with the yield, I might do the same. I've got no problem shelling out cash for an elite cut. It's worth it IMO. Just make sure it is an elite cut before you buy. For several hundred dollars for a clone, the seller should have to prove it's an elite cut. I'd demand to see the actually plant in late flowering before spending $500+ on something.

I completely agree dan. I'm having all kinds of issues with some stuff i got off of CL now. Extremely weak genetics....now that the plants are big no matter what I do they just look like shit.

Will always verify shit before I buy. Someone on BT claims to have "real" cuts of GSC for 200 a cut. Almost tempted to drive to sacramento to see if they are real.

My buddy here next town says his friend knows the original breeder and can get me a cut. Will just take time. I tried to ask him a bunch of questions about. He thinks GSC is overrated crap, and that his Granddaddy Blueberry is better, so he basically doesn't give a shit about GSC.

It's all about what the consumer wants....and right now if it isnt some crazy name with OG after or before it....or GSC....or sour whatever....people dont want it.

Well my buddy also says OG's and GSC yield for shit too, so I'm sure that fits into the equation as well.

Yeah having that debate right now. Its either yeild 2lbs a light and get 2500 a pack...or 1lb a light and get 3200. First one sounds better.

Granny Purps - $40
Oakland Organics - $150

GSC are no longer worth more than than unless they are an elite pheno. Everyone seems to claim they have the "real" cut and that's why it's more expensive. But unless they can show you indisputable proof, I'd pass.

Depends on the cutting of OG and GSC really. Platinum OG yields pretty well.
