Getting over the jitters...

There is a bathroom right next to the closet that I could use for the 12 hours of light she needs..it has a skylight and I could put her in the bathtub before she goes back to the darkness again...???
I am excited about my plant but VERY paranoid about getting caught...and she is SOOOO pungent...the smell almost knocks you out!

You can build a small room useing just Styrofoam from Home depot. Thats what I used for my 12/12 door. Get the dense stuff and a can of Foam and foam the 4 pieces togther , cut out a door and there you go. Just don't bump walls.

i think he probably gets less that 12 hours of direct light in the mudroom, unless there are windows on the west and east sides

With the plant that big, it's quite heavy and I am going up and down stairs with her...Who would have thought throwing a seed in some soil on a whim would yeild such a HUGE and healthy plant...wow!

How thick does that have to be before it really doesn't transmit light?

In your experience, is natural sunlight enough, and then the dark closet?
And I keep reading different opinions about 12/12 hours light/darkness, should be more, should be less. ????
There is no way I can afford any kind of light. Just so thrilled she is doing so well! Wish I could tell how long it will be before I can harvest..

I went to home depot and bought some 1/2 insulation board with a foil backing. It was 4x8. Works great for my door.
