germinating for beginners

Hi guys... doing my 1st grow here and ive put 3 seeds in a glass of water for 24 hours, they were sunk this morning and I transferred them into a Tupperware box in wet kitchen roll, how long should I leave them in the Tupperware box before deciding there duds or to plant them? thanks

24-36 hrs you should see sprouts. 75 degrees helps!

and should I have the light on them from the moment I plant them? or wait til they sprout?

Seedlings need light for photosynthesis. Seeds don't photosynthesize. Capish?

light cant hurt from beginning as a seed lights provide heat and i use a light (24 hr a day) and heating pad from seed to first transplant

but not needed until out of shell will be a pale color until light hits it and goes green

Light is warmth, seedlings and spouts love the warmth of real sunlight. that's all I have 2 add.
