I think the govt has always said 400,000 in 10 years....but the real number is around 1 mil I think.

awesome letter man. The only thing I would add to what hasn't already been said is to add the real going price of L.P MMJ. Right now some are selling for $14 +, I would also add something about the hydropothicary wanting to sell it for $35 for the elite. I feel putting more emphasis on price is something that more people can relate to cause everyone hates being gouged by the man. I would also add that lps have resorted to selling production waste (shake) as viable medication for top dollar. otherwise, keep on doing what you're doing man

I'd argue Harpers views on cannabis stem less from his moral position and more from the corporate interests positions that he represents. They basically argued that government should decide which businesses should fail or succeed in their court case. Probably could use that against him given his so called ideology as well. Guy is blatantly out and out fascist.

they are at least breaking competition laws....and price fixing laws...with the handling of the LP's.
hows is it publicly traded companies..(with shareholders)can sit in a meeting and decide on a basic price line
of 8.80/gr...with the help of HC consultants...
Any other segment of the economy or group of companies..that does this kind of wrangling....usually the
owners see jail time......for price fixing

You only need to look at Colorado and Washington for proof of the real intent of LP's. Medicinal weed sales to a mere 40-50k patients divied up between 15,20,40 LP's (HC has not put a maximum on LP's) would not justify the millions of dollars in investments each one of these growers is willing to gamble. The investors are fully aware that legalization is imminent and paper bags full of money are being passed across tables to government officials at Tim Horton's to buy their way in. I've said this before...watch for Harper to introduce a policy allowing fines rather than arrest for possession during the election. He'll make it sound like he's 'softening' on the issue in answer to 'what Canadians want'...a 'kinder, gentler Stevie' . If he steals another fraud election, he will gradually ease the laws on recreational use, citing it had to happen to 'stem the flow of Washington weed into Canada' or some shit. Unlike Colorado, Harper is determined to deny people the right to grow for personal in order to guarantee a monopoly on sales.Of course, the mandatory minimum prison sentences will be increased and enforced for anyone who dares grow one of Stevie's money trees without giving him a cut.

He wants it his way when he wants it...if he thinks he will lose over this issue you can bet your ass there will suddenly be all kinds of overwhelming evidence to show how helpful it is...and we are looking out for the safety of patients....and on and on until he gets what he wants. I told my spouse that if I wasn't involved in med mari, I would probably invest in it in anticipation of legalization. But I have principles as well as integrity and I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing a group of sick people suffered for me to profit. When the Conservatives come to the door, I am going to do to them what they have done to us...I'm going to tell them that I support them.

So I'm making notes and when it's just about time for the election, I will try my hardest to remind people what a disgrace The Harper Government is to this country.

I have been aligned with sensible BC since I first looked for a forum to discuss MMJ....
They have been providing me with updates all along...unlike the coalition

I too ...tell the cons that I support them when the call or show up...I rarely lie...but in these cases its a necessity ....
I swear they have a list.....(I'm completely serious)
They phone every house in the county/township....and the first question they ask is DO you support the conservatives ???? There is only 200 people living around here.....pretty easy to keep a complete list of who does and who doesn't
