Well if were getting TECHNICAL about it, homosexual men have a larger left brain hemisphere the same way a heterosexual woman does and vice versa with homosexual women and heterosexual men. Meaning technically speaking their brain is physically developed to resemble that of a woman's but just in a male body. Either way the human brain is naturally programmed to be attracted to certain physical features most dominant in women (Why do you think the majority of homosexual men look better than heterosexual men?). To be honest I would agree for a complete change of gender (meaning the person could be fertile if it was male to female) but not for some make up and acting based thing. I mean I can`t be assed to tidy up my frizzy hair half the time, to think of what these guys are doing.... wow!

So, wheather scientific or not, the whole thing is giving up to sexual desire and carrying out major changes on apperance and personality... The mindset is kinda like the skinny nerd from next door putting on black shades, a leather jacket and trying to look ice cool...

I believe that you are failing to realize that ... your "mindset' drives everything before your body picks up on that impulse .... think about this.
You have simply been lucky to get the perfect 'vehicle' .... and are 'gender-centric as in ethnocentric' for a lack of better word.

No need to be fussy about the vehicle which you have been given just because you can these days... A guy which dresses up a bit like a girl and wants to have some fun with other guys is cool, thats a choice... Don`t take me for one of those gay nazis lol However, this just seems like denial to me.

And if your stating that someone needs to do hours of makeovers on their body just to like their vehicle I would beg to differ! But I guess I can`t state that point as most of the "normal people" are spending shitloads on cosmetics and clothing. What I said is in an idealistic world where everyone accepts each other for what they are and what they look like. But even so, I can`t see any point in this gender change.

What I would add is that I was once a person which didn`t love myself once upon a time. Its up to the individual to digest what he sees, accept it, be grateful and finally love themselves. No make up or mumbo jumbo is needed!

Here you are talking about Homosexuality ... and need for attention .... as per psychological identity issues.

There is no such thing as normal nor idealistic ... please think about this.
Most people spend tons of money on the exterior .... to emulate something.
Within the existing system ... you are perceived by your image (first impression)... 'humans are visual ... hence still naive ... in how they process important stuff'.
You dress to make yourself feel good .... that is certain .... but look in your wardrobe.
Who do you wear ? I bet everything about you is about ... 'who you want to be like ..."
and what is accepted in your circle.
This thought process is programmed into your psyche ... by your parents, school, tv.
Having something removed and your chemistry ... reprogrammed ... is different.

Is the most powerful lesson to master. There comes great strength in self confidence, you are very lucky sir. As a straight male, I also feel lucky ... this makes my life so simple ... in terms of my own sexuality .... I certainly do not know myself. But I have a good idea.
But what if .... our heroes at hand ... have realized the same thing .... and IS trying to get
there .... ?

Okay those are some good points! Your comments on gender identity need a close look though IMO. What does gender actually mean? Gender to me starts mainly sexual and also is a social status. But I thought the aims of our society which are kinda met was to equate male and female. In this case, do we not only have the sexual status left over?

Personality - Identity are feeble in existence and should not be given too much concideration IMO. I`m not fussed about the clothes I wear, I just fit in lol

I don`t think a comparison to clothes is releavant but I do get your point. A comparison to make-up and cosmetics would be more relevant in this case as they are added effort, clothes is worn by everyone and has a design of some sort. But like I said, point well got on that matter.

As a conclusion, I would change my opinion on this to "whatever floats your boat!" I`m just wondering if it actually does, as it is a state of denial after all. I can`t see someone like this not pretending certain things that they wouldn`t normally say/be interested in. So my point is, even though this person would have feminine thoughts, all his thoughts will not be feminine and therefore will always be half feminine and half pretending to be due to his personality belief, and the 2 sides combined he will appear completely (well,) feminine. I do get an appreciation for the problem this person is facing, and the fact that this solves some things. But is it the real solution? There are many solutions to a problem, get an opiate addict and give him opiates thats one form of solution, another form would be to send him to rehab. Can you ever say which is right in this case?

And to be honest, %100 sureness of oneselfs gender does not exist IMO. We are always in a duality.. so am I, so are you, so are the people who hurt/refuse to talk to homosexuals. I am not afraid to admit this and also acknowledge that homosexuals are quite nice and open minded people as they are facing this duality. But this person on the other hand, is pretending to be something they are not. Thats not an open mind.

Since science is used to decrease hardship of man, all of science should be embraced. This is just another luxury our grasp of nature allows us, sure its a bit taboo, and I may become socially awkward if a girl I was getting with said "I used to be a boy!", to say the least, but its just a choice science permits us such as using LSD.

While I would agree that some people could use this option just as a ploy to get attention, it shouldn't be deprived from all people. I don't really know about gender reassignment, if its a proven thing or not, but I say let fly man.

Shit, I don't think about 'transformation' but I have wondered what its like for the woman because they can get going pretty fucking good sometimes, plus they are hella emotional. I also hate the anal so I couldn't imagine getting prodded there myself.

I guess however riduculous gender change seems to me, I have to agree with Rodart. Most of the things we normally do are ridiculous anyway, gender change is just one of the extremes I guess. Some people get eyeball or full body tattoos, piercings etc.
