Flowering with Cree bulbs

I tried several sized reflectors I have laying around. To the naked eye, it seems like a single in a small HD clamp reflector is best. Pluses being smaller reflector, cheaper, clamp, and nice footprint from 6-12" away. I still think I'm going to go bare bulb propped up or hanging between foliage. I absolutely hate reflectors.

So, at the end of the day, you'll still get decent flowering from the new style 2700k Cree, just not as good as the old style Cree, yes?

I cant tell the difference and I have both. However, that being anecdotal, it would be nice to hit it with the PAR meter for a baseline, but brother Tags has moved on.....

I want a dozen CWs for the house. My electric bill hasn't changed at all with my 2 area 51s. Prob due to the heater and humidifier I had to add lol. They'll save a lot in the summer.

I got mine within 5-6" w/ 45° angles on all lights except the CFL. No signs of bleaching I can see and the blueberry auto is really taking off. Will post more pics tomorrow.
You can be my guinea pig! Keep us posted as I want to supplement my 51s with stripped A19s vertical (gonna be close to foliage) I bleached my babies with 51s...only 10" away lol.:wall:

these are taking off. The auto AK is starting to catch up to its brother and I had to do some more LST tonight. Hard to believe these only sprouted on 10/30.

One note too- you'll see I scraped a couple of the Crees. I just make sure I turn those away from the plants.

Crab legs are now in and the CFL is out. In total I have 7 2700k and 6 5000k. I should probably do a grow journal, but this is my first grow. I just watered them when I took the pic so they're not as spritely as they should.
