First time balcony grow need help please

Ok so a buddy of mine gave me one of his clones which he said was 100% female so when I brought it home around mid June it was in a plastic beer cup and I transfered it into a 10" plastic pot.

I have since watered it just about every other day and have never trimmed it or touched it at all. I did give it a couple sticks of the micacle grow though.

I don't get tons of sunlight were I am but it gets anywhere from 4-8 hours of light a day for the most part.

I've taken a few (shitty) pics with my webcam and i'm hoping someone can help me out with a few questions

I'm wondering what strain/type kind this is?

Does it look female?

How much longer does it look like its going to take before I see some buds?

Does this plant just look like crap and am I wasting my time with it?

Thanks so much guys, like I said this is my first time growing and it being on a balcony sucks but hopefully I might get something good out of it.

P.S. on a side note I didn't cut the top to make more clones since I can't grow indoors but i'm hoping this is as high as it will grow since I don't want it above the balcony where ppl can see lol.

Looks like a sativa...erm...you're probably gonna need more light. You said 4-6 hours of direct sunlight?

That is 100% sativa. Which means when it starts to flower it will go for 10-12 weeks.
But it needs to be eithier outside 100% or 12 hrs of light and 12 hrs of dark- uniterupted.

Thanks guys, since i've had it i've always left it inside (only just brought in now to take pics of it)

I know for sure its not getting 12 hours of direct light, at most 6-8hrs of direct sun but the sun comes up about 6am now and goes down about 8-9 im close to toronto if that helps lol

Just leave it outside and let mother nature take it course,it's a beautiful thing.

lol will do. does it look like i might get a couple ounces out of it? i can see theres about 10-15 spots where its starting to flower but im still clueless

Leggy sativa. U better START cuttin that top if ur limited to height... Sativas can triple in size their first few weeks in flower keep that in mind. Lol but otherwise it looks to be doin fine. Just remember it is a weed and will grow in spite of u. Let it do its thing and it will tell u if somethuing is wrong.

I think you can get 2 oz.

Don't cut the top, if hiegth is an issue just bend it over and tie to container. SO it looks like a upside down L (7).

I'm just worried about the smell lol theres another building about 50 feet away but my balcony is close to a main road so i'm hoping im high enough up (3rd floor) and with the wind that it will just push the smell towards the main road and no one will smell a thing lol
