So, I decided one day while sitting around lazily enjoying some good ol' middies that the seeds and the bag of Miracle Grow potting mix that I used to plant some houseplants would go well together. Of course, at this point I didn't know Potting Mix and added spray nutrients designed for flowering sprayed almost daily (diluted and applied in very small amounts) worked against the plants...probably why 1 out of 9 germinated. But thats another story - live and learn, theres always seedy mids around to grab more from.
So I was looking around through the soil in the plastic cup with a small (maybe .25 inches) hole in the bottom of it to drain that the little plant is in, and I noticed that there are these little tiny tiny tiny white things which almost look like maggots crawling through the soil. When I say tiny, I mean so tiny I probably couldn't render them with a camera. But they're definately there, and they sorta move around like a cross between a maggot and a worm. They're about as thick as a strand of hair, and maybe a mm or two long, I mean TINY.
Plant spends a lot of time indoors but when its nice out and sunny, I throw it out back since its so small, directly in the sun on a chair.
The hell is infesting my week old soil?!
