First led grow ever.....

So just to be clear, is there a proper centrifugal inline fan anywhere in this setup? I am of the opinion that with only that one light and such a small tent as long as ambient aren't out of control the 4" should work just fine. I think he just has it setup all wrong.
Yes I have ano in line fan

In my 4x2 right now I have my 4" fan and filter with 550w of led and I am about 5 degrees above ambient so I can't see a reason in the world you can't keep temps under control. What are ambient temps like?

I'll have to check. I took the tent down for extra space for a visiting guest......and to not draw attn...... I am putting back up in a day or 2. I can let you know then, but from what I remember I'm running around 76°f with 42% rhythm. Roughly

The room stays about 68 to 70 with the portable ac running.... I have a small piece of vent it customized for fit half the width of the ac outlet and I use duct tape and secure it in place, kinda crude but it does work.... I just need to get another in line fan and use it to pipe in the cold air

I agree he's got most of the makings for a good exhaust system though. I think it would be best to swap the 4" filter for a 6" and use his 440cfm for exhaust. Use the 4" boosters for intake if necessary. Maybe just one, and rig the other to help pull air up from the lights? Especially if it has a dimmer, though a booster probably doesn't.

Also man COB LEDs are great but if you are looking to make your dollar go the farthest you'd be better off going with a Citizen than a Cree. They cost about half as much and they're still great quality. Never used a Vero but I hear they're less expensive too and also good choices. Cree are nice but not twice as good, not even close. Basically you'd be paying double for the name. Actually driven at a high enough current the Citizen 1212 is more efficient than the Cree Cxb3590 (the one folks are generally referring to when they talk about Cree). They're all made in China.

Ambient temperature is the temp of the room not inside the tent. 76 is totally fine I don't even know why we are discussing this if you are only at 76 lol. I keep seeing people suggesting a 6" filter but I have no idea why.

I really appreciate the help... I will definitely be researching the citizen 1212

I only have half the fan power off the ac. It doesn't help that much a few degrees. And the 76 is with it running.

when we use single hose ac,, air is pulled out of the room and it goes out thru window,, problem is,, this air then needs to be replaced,, by pulling hot air in from outside,, thru cracks in your house,, which defeats the porpose ,,, there are some DIY dual ac adaptors,, pretty cheap to make, ,and will really help you out

I found a different kind of nutrient line I might start using..... it isn't organic at all full synthetic. From fertiloom 2 nutrients in a soluble form.. one for bloom and one for veg.... the veg formula is said to provide 100% availability and safe for seedlings..... I'm really wondering here

You dont feed seedlings.. There is no point. I would avoid any trash that makes silly claims like that.
