All mine that stank through veg were male. :/ I read that the males produce the smell sooner because they mature faster, thats why alot of the time the faster growing of the same strain is frequently male. SHE is looking reeal good, however :spew:

It not very potent whatsoever so im hoping its female still. Got a Nirvana Blue Mystic and a Freebie Seed on the way just in case (feminized). Been doing lots of light research will buy one before i plant the new seeds.

she is getting very tall, more bushy, and has a much thicker stem. Tons of bud sites.

i will have access to a much better camera tomorrow so ill take a bunch of HQ pics :bigjoint:

Small tear like holes on some of the upper leaves. Still no sign of sex. Just fed with only liquid karma (feed transition nutes 3 days ago)
Any comments now i have a few better pics up?

Looking very nice. I like the size. You should notice the sex pretty soon.

Was the 3x 23w 5000k cfls enough? I'm thinking of doing a CFL grow in my closet, about the same size as yours.

thanks! i veg'd with 3x 5000k (23w) probly not ideal but it worked. Running 2x 5000k and 2x 2700k right now, still want more light tho!

lookin great for ur first grow my man, u topped her well and she took to it nicely....shes bushin out a lot. i'm a cfl closet grower as well, my area is rite around the same size as yours too, thoug i run more lights. if u want to stay cfl look into the brightwing cfl shade and the FELIZ cfl bulb. i use one for flowering and i love it. good luck i'm definitely gonna keep watchin ur thread. hope for white pistils to show!!!!

thanks DDM! Thats funny you say that cuz if i go CFL next grow (likely cuz i want small plants and low temps) I was looking at the 125w brightwing set, fairly cheap and i can supplement with 23w in clamps on the sides. Other route was a smaller hps system. Im thinkin CFL's might be the better route but still doin my research! Still praying for female, shes going to bed and im going to work. Ill update tonight when she awakes!

got some Mylar, Cal-Mag, Clearex, and Sweet from botanicare, a 68w cfl bulb to add and some ona for smells. No camera atm and no signs of sex yet.

was using foil myself until people started telling me if light reflects off it right it can burn small holes right through your leaves, not certain or anything but this COULD be causing the "small tears". good thread my friend will have to see this one to the end. happy growing !

hey bro good job so far im liking it, dont buy into the fact about if the plant smells first it a male or female cuz diffrent strains are so diffrent but good job bro dont try to strees about the sex so much just take care of it and wait till it shows sex. how long ago u flip it to 12/12. about the smell bro u might need a carbon filter cuz the smell will stink up ur room and house even if its a small plant bro no airfreshners or ona will help when its into flowering stage especially in the 3 week .i would def look into getting an carbon filter.

thanks, its day 9 of 12/12 i believe (it starts its day at like 1030 at night so its 8-9 or w/e) smell isnt a huge issue for me the ONA should work fine as long not like skunk city, everyone in my building smokes all day and the halls reek as it is. Also im running out of space to put a carbon filter started a few 12/12 from seed incase this goes male.

I hear the longer it takes to show signs of sex the higher chance itll be female so no sign is fine by me at this point haha

yep u are right broit usually takes longer for fems to show sex, thats cool that ur building smokes i wish mine didlol like i said bro looking good looking good. at least if it gose male u will know what to look for next time u start ur seeds, im glad u went with reg seed im not a big fan of fem seeds dont get me wrong some strains that i have came from fem seeds but they r a bit more tricky anyway keep up the good work

Day 10 of Flower

Added a lot of shit to my room! Got the Mylar up as well as the new bulb.

I have a total of 174w CFL (11,400 lumens) all 2700k (1x 68w, 2x 30w, 2x 23w)

Temp is around 80-82F.

Room is not that dark, I'm not sure why it came out like that on the pictures... its extremely bright!

looks awesome dubsy, cfl lights seem to be working great for you, im using them in my current grow too, happy growing my friend keep up the good work.

Just got done reading the entire thread, your setup looks bada$$! I have a similar setup that I just started. Got an old dresser, took the bottom three drawers out and gutted it. Nice little cabinet now. Getting all the stuff I need for grow on Friday. Already have a super lemon haze clone thats been under the lights (24/0) for a few days, just waiting for roots to take hold then going to 3 gal pot.
Keep updating looks great!!!

Thanks! got bad news tho she turned out to be a he so copped him and just waiting for my seeds to get here to start again. About to plant a few more bagseeds to keep me occupied while i wait!

No offense but I veg with more cfl's then your whole set up and mine feels weak for first set up. Try setting up a mh/hps more bang for buck specially if your not even splitting up your veg/flower rooms.
