First Grow - Mother Box

Wow.. sorry to hear about the heat problem!! but glad to hear u fixed it man! =) Phewwww! lol. And yeaa man.. you ARE doing an awesome job! And deserve to hear it! Keep it up man! I'm loving the setup as well.. that Baby will fill up that screen in No time! you just wait and see! Happy Easter man!

Im thinking about going and getting this today, it will be almost 3 times as much room and its cheaper that what i paid for my box. Its probably really flimsy but i think with some crews and L brackets it will be sturdy as a rock. I also want to go get some of those green lights so i can work on my shit at night, since im in 12/12 at 8 and 8 my work is interfering with my construction time lol. Im going to see how much room i really have and maybe ill go get a 600w cooltube this week. Then i can move my other plant into this box and not in the bathroom lol (The girlfriend doesnt like it in there, "It takes up to much counter space!" i just like to ignore her for awhile till she gets over it then ill move it ) Cant wait till i move out of this appt and can Have a whole room to mess around in.

yeah, those are cool cabinets. when i did my other grow a couple years ago, i bought the double wide cab from walmart. we put it all together and went to lean it over to get it through the door and just foldedright over, it was too funny and i was so pissed. we got it back together and did the screws and L brackets and it was fine. my was 4' wide and 2' deep and had a divider in the middle. one side was veg with a shelf on top for clones and the other side was flowering. worked out great. had cfl's for veg and hps for the flowering. used 3" pvc pipe for air intake and exhaust, only problem was the pot i grew sucked, LoL. good luck man.

i enjoy cabinets quite a bit with that size though 400 watts is more than enough
no need to make your own heat issues

i run a 250 watt cool tube in a dresser stays 80-84 degrees
with a 6" whisper fan on each side on sucking in one pulling out

p.s just drove the a6 quite a nice car

MOVED out of the box for flowering, Im in the closet now and its alot better(temps, room, Future plans) i dont know why i just didnt start in here to begin with (made the normal beginner mistake and just went crazy lol), i guess ive got a nice little clone box or something.

Any input? the closet is like 6x3.5x8 and has a nice convenient bar to hang a light from

That should take care of the odor ill start getting in a month ish. I did build i little light fixture for the cfls that works amazing for the time being, it holds 11 bulbs no problem all sideways, ill post pics tomorrow. The closet has two sliding doors so im going to just but panda film on the inside to seal it and make a little vent thing for in between the door and the wall, hard to explain ( might be this amazing hash ) lol but ya you'll see within the next couple weeks. This grow i think will just be like my first practice grow. I like growing from seed better to anyways, i almost hope this seedling comes out male so i can move it to my buddys house and collect some pollen and pollinate a bud of this white widow and get a bunch of seeds. But this seedling is just looking amazing, i tried to fim but as time goes on its looking like i didn't do anything except stress it out for a couple days lol. Id take some pictures but the plants are sleeping, im going to go get one of those green bulbs so i can work on my room at night when they are asleep, and it'll make me feel like i have night vision or something...... Again lol hash....... so enough rambling for now, tomorrow ill get some pics up.

Thought i'd post some pics of the current arrangement, and some shoots of the very healthy Bagseed. Ya i still need to light seal the closet and stuff, Kinda not felling well this weekend so im just gana wait till next weekend, But i think i have enought lighting for a little while lol

Ya it really isn't that bright it was just a combo of the flash and the lighting in the room, It has a little light but it wont be hard to seal. tomorrow im going to build a little aeroponics cloner using a ultrasonic foger i have laying around and cut a little white widow since i just put in in 12/12, i think it will still be fine, And i want a clone of this cool bagseed too. it a cool little thing it turns the water into a really fine fog, its supose to work very very well. If its a really good turn out ill make one for a full grow with a plant if youve never seen them check em out,

I guess it makes root growth almost triple.

so today is like day 6 or so of 12/12 and i have little buds!!! YAY!! anyway heres some pics, no real updates new except i topped my little seedling that is like 3 weeks old and now it has like 5 tops lol not true tops but some lower side branches have all of a sudden caught up with the top and are getting some nice thick stems, my main stem is already bigger then a pencil and looks very healthy, ive been giving it some nutrients lol just like 1/4 strength and it looks like its helping alot. i also am trying to clone the top i cut off just for fun since i have rooting gel, i dont know if its a male or female yet so it might be a waste of a little dirt but oh well. My plan is to take any males and move then to a separate house and get some pollen to put on a bud of the widow so i can get some seeds, i really like the way both of these strains are growing so far, i think if i had a room i could fit alot and they would be very easy to manage with a little LST.

just a preview pic of a nice bud, theres quiet a few of them i would say 15+, more pics will come later. I did get a little creative and added more lights so now i have a total of 16 26w cfls ( 12 - 2700k and 4 - 6700k ) around this 1 plant so i think it should have enough light lol. Im off to help a friend move, should have some pics up right around 8PM Pacific time as thats when they go to bed and i want to get a couple shots with the light on and off.

ok so heres some more pictures not really much to say haven't changes much except added new light, oh and i stated giving her full strength FF nutes. ill update more later Im off to get drunk!!! oh ya and anytime i touch the little plant it smells like straight DANK, like alot lol i like go up and shake it to get that nice stinky aroma.

oh and to answer SSmokeeennn's question they are all the same bulb type and they put off 1800 lumens each so 16 x 1800 is.... 28800 focused on a 1x2 screen with one plant lol

Ok so to add some info about the scroging im still tucking a weaving which i think ill probably do afor another week or two then im going to let it grow up and so far it looking like that is giving me a ton of bud sites and its letting the Little ones catch up to the main branches in height and stem thickness. I kinda counted last night and i have about 25+ bud sites already and more are on there way. the little buds look amazing ill just sit there and just stair at them lol.

Im currently looking up solutions, damn 18 days into flower and thats just my luck. Anyone got any recommendations ?? its just one plant so i cant just remove it.

Sweet i might try the neem oil or the acidic water spray hopefully i can get to the garden store before they close tonight, damn work interfering with my plant time lol. Damn white mold, at least i noticed it when its only a couple of the bottom leaves, i removes most of the infected leaves and ill spray the rest and hope it goes away.

ordered a jug of neem oil it was 8oz for $10. itll be here in five days, until then im going to try some acidic water spray. i also pulled some lower leaves to open up the plant in general so its not so crowded in the middle. ill post some pictures tomorrow the nugs are really comin along nicely. still no smell so thats nice.

Shes lookin good so far, the alkaline water has helped the powdery mildew for now until the neem oil gets here. The other random bagseed has been on 12/12 for a week now and still no sign of sex. I vegged it for about 3 weeks so it could take a little while to show sex. And my top i took off of it is living and growing very well so my second clone attempt worked! yay, thats 1 out of 2 attempts lol. So if its a male ill just collect pollen and pollinate some white widow so i have some seeds. but.... if shes what im hoping for ill now have 3 plants all about a month apart. The cloned top is in a box in my closet in the bedroom with a 26w 6700k bulb in there and so far its happy for now. The little ones are out of there boxes enjoying a nice sunny day today and a fresh water watering so i took a couple pics here ya go! I also showed 2 pics of how close i keep the lights from the plant, about 1" - 3" away from the whole plant
