Right on I got some feedback saying that they might be female yet so I feel a lot better. I jumped the gun a little bit I guess, but the one definately looks male but it's the smallest one. As far as breeding I'm building the seperate chamber now and will most likely be breeding something later. I got plenty of true breeding strains so I can make my own F1s but these ones aren't really on the plans for breeding. If anything I might just collect some pollen from a male and store it just for the hell of it. It really is a lot of work to post pictures and stuff I can't believe how many batteries it goes through I've already changed batteries like 3 rtimes but I have a bunch of these cheap ones around. Blue widow sounds bomb all BB crosses I've had are fire. Still trying to smoke some true BB after all these years. Anyways yeah I still have all the seeds for these strains so if they perform well I might breed them in the future, if I can get these old purple indicas to sprout I will be collecting pollen or pollinating them for sure. I also planted one romulan like I did last year because I don't care if I get a male or female because romulan is definately one of the strains I am going to breed with. I got some purple romulan a few weeks ago that wasnb't purple and was premature.....this would be my purple mromulan marc emery PI x Romulan but I don't have high expectations for these old beans. Last time I put my male in a box to collect pollen and he died so I realized I needed a seperate grow chamber.

Hey that's great news that they still might be female and the weakest might be male. The last picture #6- which is that of?

yeaaa I know wat ya mean.. that would probly be the best idea.. just collect some pollen.. put it in a bag or a jar or somethin.. and just label it and store it away.. not sure how long it stays good for.. but it will be nice to hold on to it for futire projects.. I plan on eventually tryin to get into breeding. it just sounds like it would be fun.. creating your own strains and what not...

Byt the way.. you should look into gettin some rechargable batteries!! Go to walgreens or CVS... theyre pretty cheap. I got the energized ones. Theyre silver with green writing on it.. you just get the batteries and charger together.. theyre deff. worth it.. if you can.. get 4 batteries, cuz most chargers hold 4 batteries anyways.. and when you are taking pics.. use 2 of them in your camera.. and then have the otha ones charging.. when thosew run out swap them out.. that way you will never need batteries again.. I got a shitload of them.. for my razor.. for my TV remotes.. my XBOX 360 controllerr.. my camera... lol. its the best money you'll spend. =) Keep up your hard work man.. it shows.

yeah i do need to get some eventually right now I have tons of these extra ones so I will use them until they are gone. I never really had a problem with my xbox remote, seems I could play for months on two batteries but the camera man take some macro pics and before you know it it's time to replace. In the words of murs: "he dug his own grave with those rayovac batteries"

I think I'm going to transplant these today and feed with FFBB and superthrive to give these roots a little time to get adjusted to the bigger pot and than switch to bloom. Guess that means I'm going to be potting some males up but oh well I guess.

Update okay I transplanted my 3 favs into 5 gallon buckets today. They haven't really grown a lot since my last update except for maybe the colombian and the hawaiin. I don't know how well the chs are going to respond to the topping. They are not recieving much light under the fat leaves so hopefully once I put them into bloom the branches will elongate and the top buds will grow a little better. They look pretty much the same maybe a little worse than last time since I accidentaly ripped one the big CHS leaves and some of the bottom ones were already damaged. They will spring back though I'm not worried. The roots were pretty overgrown so once they get going in the soil should be a lot better.I only have one more big pot so I guess I will transplant the other colombian tomorrow and give the hawaiins a few more days till transplanting them. There's a lot of wasted material (pots, space, soil, nutes and water) because of males. Especially water and soil. Since I've been using that humidifier I'm going through like 1 gallon a day and must have just used a couple gallons today but didn't have enough. I'm gonna have to start filling both of my 5 gallon buckets every couple of days just so I can water these girls and have water on hand in case i need to flush. I wish i had a r/o system would be so much easier to have fresh water. Anyways will post some pics soon.

okay so pot situation is under control but I/m pretty sure I am going to run out of soil. It's okay I am going to repot the other colombian tomorrow. The Hawaiians should be okay a little longer since they are younger and are in slightly larger pots. SO Fuck I missed the FIM twice and it looked like a little clone so since I have the seeds germin I decided to try to clone the bagseed. I haven't noticed a great increase but figured I'd do another update anyways since it's 5 days again.

first one was 2/21 and the rest tonight.

Thanks man I repotted the other colombian yesterday and will repot the last 2 hawaiins when the soil dries out. I gave another dose of fertilizer to all of them even though I fertilized the previous watering because it was like 4-5 days inbetween watering, I saw some yellowing on a lot of plants and there is a lot of ferts in the soil but they need time to grow into it. So this should be the last time I fertilize with the fish emulsion. I also have read about superthrive causing problems in flowering so I will stop using it when i flip the switch. I have used it for like my last 2 grows and maybe that was a mistake I thought it helped the uptake of fertilizer so I added almost everyt watering their whole lives.

The stupid power keeps shutting off and it's starting to piss me off! Today the power went out for the second time this week. I am not the only one experiencing this but if this keeps up I'm worried about my girls! Never had a problem until this week so hopefully they get the shit fixed cuz I got clones and seeds and plants with a couple of hours of darkness right in the middle of their veg times.

I took a little cutting from the colombian and the cannalope since they aren't gitting much light and looked like good little clones. Wasn't the plan but looks like I might be lollipopping a little anyway. So I think topping above the 5th node isn't necessary. The hawaiians cut at the 4th node are really good looking while the others have small growth on the bbottom sets. Duly noted. So with that said I have 3 little cyuttings hopefully they root. I got a few awesome beans that may or may not germ so I am flipping the switch on Fri. By than I should have roots and seedlings from the ones that are going to germ and my plants will be transplanted and have some nice tops to start budding.

Here's the colombian she is stretch ing a little more than I would like already she's about 2-3 inches taller than she was when I dropped them onto the lower table....please be a female..

Thanks again dude. I have been bulking up my organic gardening knowledge because I stopped growing for 6 years and I lost a lot of information. I think that I am way more knowledgable after the intense reading of the last couple days. My soil is composed of black gold potting soil that i had leftover from last time. I added all my leftover worm castings jiffy mix and perlite. Than I went to homedepot and bought a bag of eko potting soil for 7$ and broght it home and mixed it with the old soil with some more perlite so I wasn't sure how it was going to work out but it's going good. Basically I would have just went with equal parts black gold potting soil and perlite with added hydrated lime. Very easy and I am using the Fox Farm Peace of mind organics soil additive and FF Big bloom to supplement.

I read a lot about organics last night and I am very happy with the fertilizer I bought last fall and read about using the molasses. I will probably go pick some up. You want to use it throughout bloom because it feeds the beneficial bacteria in the soil so using it for just the last 2 weeks doesn't really make sense. I think that in the future I'm going to get a R/O machine (hopefully my water is okay now) and try out those blue mountain organics on ebay. Looks like some good stuff, affordable, easy to use and save me time and space from having to get multiple guanos and other stuff and having to brew the teas. Thanks for the rep man

Where'd everybody go?

So the plants responded just fine to the ferts and ar really starting to fill out. I'm 95% sure the small CH is a male and the smelly one is a female:) The big one is yet to be determined as with all the other plants. I did my first supercropping job yesterday and it looks real good just to keep the big colombian from getting so damn tall. Now it has some big branches and like 9 great tops it's gonna be huge. The big CH has finally got out of it's funk and starting to grow some more massive leaves and all the clones are looking healthy but no new seeds have popped. So right on schedule and I'll update pics on wednesday and repot the rest of them-the hawaiians :) they are awesome so far, you will be surprised at the new growth I think i am just since transplanting and ferting and than again on friday is the big day.

Maybe someone can answer me on this. On the back of the bottle it says to give big bloom at first sign of the end of vegetative growth it says 4 tablespoons per gallen every watering but on their website it says to use 2 tablespoons per gallon from the beginning of vegetatitve growth and than once in the flowering period to use only 1 tablespoons per gallon after that. I've just been giving 4 tablespoons of BB with every watering anybody have any insight on this or experience?

Right on it's all good. Great news I spotted what looks like a female preflower on the big colombian. She is also starting to develop alternating nodes so she is ready. So that's 2 that appear to be female including 2 of my favorites. I think I am going to try to collect pollen from the big ch and the hawaiians if they turn out to be male. It's going to be hard I'm trying to figure out how I am going to do it without pollinating all my females. Also i ran out of meds last night so that sucks should get some tonight got a coupon for 30$ 1/8ths....not bad not bad at all. Here's hopin they are good.

I'm a newbie - I'm reading your journal. I'm still pretty confused with all the gadgets and equipment you all buy. I'm a simple girl looking to get smarter on this growing.

well Maybe I am wrong about the colombian. It's my best plant and my best plant has always been male so I don't know why I think there's a chance it could be female. I thought I saw a white pistol but been looking for it and cannot find it again. Now i see what looks like a male preflower but still to early to tell. I was going to repot today but they are all still pretty moist and I want to water all them at the same time so that I don't have different watering schedule, So I'll just repot tomorrow.

It's been 5 days and none of my seeds have germed. I kind of expected it from some of the seeds but not even some of the bagseeds I planted have sprouted (bagseeds I've had for 10 years or so) or the romulan. Hopefully nothing is wrong I didn't pre germinate just put em in the greenhouse. Maybe it's cuz I have the light off at night but my seeds germed at room temperature last time without anyhelp I just sloppily started them placed in the closet and the clones are looking good so whatever. I should get my veg box finished up next week anyway and may have some new seeds to test out.

Here's pics. I'm not gonna explain what they all are this time. If you've been following along you should be able to tell by now anyways. If you got any questions just ask but here they all are.
