First Grow CFL Hempy Bucket

picture update of my babies. they are at about 4 weeks now. the first is my papaya the second is my citral and the last is the runt of the litter and its also papaya

do those top new leaves ahve 7 or 9 fans?

I have to say this is looking great dutchie, i hadnt seen this grow and yet when i did...wow! even the so called "runt" is looking good. keep it up!

I'm using this same method myself and am now at 3 days old...LOL
I love how yours look, I hope mine do half as well as yours buddy.

the first two pic is of my biggest papaya but it has suffered some damage i think its heat damage because the day it happend my cabinet was extremely hot and the leaved drooped down with yellow burnt spots all over the leaves. it has been like a day and a half since i saw it like that now the leaves have stood up some they arent as droopy but its very burnt looking. i cant think of it being nute burn because my other 3 plants are fine and get the same amount of nutes as this one just incase it is nute burn i will water the next few waterings with plain water.

the third pic is of my citral its been a very stong fast growing plant from the beginning and its coming up on 4 weeks

the 4th pic is of my smaller papaya and it was severely stunted for the first 3 weeks and in the past week and a half or so it has blown up like crazy very impressed with the growth on this one

as of now my papay have sprouted on may 21st and my citral sprouted may 29th. that gives my papaya 31 days since it sprouted and my citral has 23 days since it sprouted. they look short to me for their age but they are doing fine ran into alot of problems but this winter my plants shouldnt have any problems since the temps will be nice and cool

tragedy has struck over the weekend. my biggest papaya almost died it has almost no leaves left they all turned brown and kinda fell off but my other 3 plants are doing fine idk what happend to the papaya if it was the heat or nute burn or what. its still alive and it might end up pulling thru. my small papaya is doing fine actually it was the runt of the group and is now doing better than the rest. my citral had an accident. i was trying to lst it with some velcro which worked pretty good but i bent the top a little too much and it snapped right off so i just took my scissors and cut a 45 degree angle on the part that broke im guessing this is the same as topping a plant so lets see. i will be buying some pots to transplant my babies into. ill post some pics tomorrow. so you can see the HORROR

dude that sucks. i have a 4 foot plant i topped at 1 foot and the to main stems were 3 feet each and a light fell on the 3.5 foot stem and broke it right off.

im soooo sad right now my biggest best plant died i called it big papa cause it was the biggest out of my two papaya plants. i have pics i will post in a few. the heat right now is killing my plants i turned off two of my cfl's to see if that would atleast help keep it a few degrees cooler. its summer here in new york so its really freaking hot and humid last night it was 94f in my room i couldnt sleep.

thedutchie13, dude, dont feel too bad, I killed one of my mazar yesterday. Using this same method.

hello all. unfortunately my first grow has come to an end. i got busted and had to take my babies out of there. i do have a second grow going at the same time its a soil grow all bagseed. i took my papaya and my citral over to that location where i currently have 3 bagseed 2 weeks into flowering. i havent seen any signs of sex yet so im getting a little worried that its not completely dark i dont want to waste two weeks of flowering and they arent even really flowering you understand? anyway in my second grow 3 of my bagseed died i had 6 bagseed going but not enough space for that many to flower my papaya and citral are doing good over there they have survived transplant new nutes new light new place. ill have pics for you of my second grow soon.

i got busted by my mom i was sleeping had my cabinet door open and she walked into my room saw the light coming from the cabinet she didnt ask me any questions but she saw it. so i moved them to my other grow op immediately the next day so she would come and kill my babies. but i still have my second grow going on with 3 babies in flower hoping for atleast 2 females out the 3. and i have been LST the plants because my cabinet isnt very tall only 3ft tall so i cant afford to have tall plants and i did not prune or do anything to the plants except for one it got topped. i have to leave the care of my plants in someone elses hands so i only get to see them once a week. i will be going to see them today maybe i can see some signs of sex.

How old are you? you take so much risk for so little reward. The lights you are using...the cfls. will NOT put weight on the budz. I think it is sad that no body said something too. i post on gardenscure.com as big tigga. i have been growing for a while and learned tgat if the risk aka your mom finds out her little boy is growing in her own house and the reward... your few grams from the light starved plants does not balance out. just my 2cents. So how old are you?
