Not much news today.......AGAIN!! Very little growth since i changed over to DWC. Maybe they are still in shock.....The brown spots and yellowing on the bigger plant is getting worse. My first inclination is to just leave them alone...after all they are only bagseed. I'm not sure when these babies will take off, but I am hoping soon.

Picture from yesterday....Brown spots and discoloration of the bigger leaves is worse today....

Top view of new growth that actually looks healthy....although leaves still curl down......

do you have the whole setup like air stone and pump and shit maybe higher your lights a little and let the roots devolpe cause there real small and are probally in schock beacuse of the transplant and if you can aim the fan right at the stems to strethgen them if you dont have any nutes pick up a low dose like 1 drop of superthrive on each plant or green light stimulater and stater

yeah i have a 10in air stone and pump. Lights are about 3-4 inches from the plants. I moved the lights up a bit, they were about 2 inches away. You can't tell by that picture, but the fan is pointed right at the plants.

I just went to turn my lights off for the girls 6 hours of sleep time, when I actually noticed the plant got bigger. I added some h2o2 to the water, as there was some brown slime on the roots. Roots looked pretty white just a couple hours after the add of h2o2. Not sure if this is a temporary thing or not? New growth looks healthy on the bigger plant, and even the smaller plant is starting to grow. The roots on the smaller plant also look a little longer. Hopefully this is the start of a good thing. I can;t wait to see what they look like tomorrow and will post pics in the morning.......

Oh yeah, these girls ARE on nutes. 1/4 strength Fox Farms Grow Big is what i mixed into my reservoir when they switched to the DWC. It will be a week Tuesday, so I am contemplating adding another 1/4 strength dose of nutes then.......

Just wanted to add some pics today. Still a pretty pathetic grow. These might be the smallest 20 day old plants known to man.....

Now I knew my first grow wouldn't go perfect, but I didn't think it it would go THIS bad! Added a little more h202 today. Tomorrow will be a week since the switch to DWC, so I will probably add another 1/4 dose of nutes. Wish me luck.....Looks like I'm gonna need it with these ones......

Added some Epsom Salt to my reservoir, as I think this is a magnesium deficiency.....we'll see how that goes....

At first the yellowing was because of the nutes in miracle grow soil.
They will get worse if you keep adding stuff to the water, you allready have too many nutes. The plants are too young for nutes. Either buy distilled/filtered water or let tapwater sit out overnight so the chlorine evaporates and replace your current water with that. Let it recover for a week without nutes and then sparingly add some after that and your plants should be ok

Alright, its been 8 days since i flushed the reservoir....they just have been chillin since then in regular water with one air stone. So today, I added 2 more airstones and 1/4 strength Fox Farm grow big. The bigger plant is just little bigger, and the smaller plant really greened up in the fresh water. Hopefully, they take to the nutes, and hopefully they love there new air stones. They have some SERIOUS bubble action now. Two days after I flushed, I saw some really healthy root growth. The roots have been growing steadily for the past week, so hopefully they will be alright. I'm kinda dissapointed, but I am not giving up. I have learned a lot from my earlier mistakes, and am having a blast in the process.

Dude, your doing the same thing i did with many of my first unsuccesfull plants...
overthinking everything...

infact they did nickname it weed for a reason,,
my cousin had a white rhino plant just chillin in the fishtank with some goldfish for like 2 months...
no lights nothin

just the plant in the water, and mabey some sunlight from windows and door openning...

What im saying dude is... they are pretty hardy plants... they can normally find a way to survive pretty well if there is lack of somthing,,, except mabey water lol

OK, so I figured I would update this for the hell of it. They have really turned around, given what they looked like 20 some odd days ago. I might flush my reservoir and add 1/4 strength nutes tomorrow. I'm going to baby them on the nutes for awhile.

Setup with slightly different light setup...

I'm going to add 6 CFLs to my current light setup. Plants looked even better today. The root action on the little one grew X2 overnight!

OK, back with some new pics. I am battling high temps now with the new light setup up. I am going to install a 120mm PC fan to help with airflow. I changed the reservoir yesterday and added 1/4 strength nutes. I'm going to baby them with the nutes for a little while. Contemplating doing a screen of green if one of them turns out well enough. Here are some pics:
