yes you could still put a screen on your plants still put it right uder your lights on the left your fan leaves are spread out which might become a problem because you have to pull your leaves up to slide the leaves over the slots on the plant on the right

i cant tell how many branches your plant on the right has put take as much time you can to do this so you dont break any branches it it take 2 hours it will be worth it in the longrun

i suggest a crog with bigget holes becasue of how many branches your plant on the right has

good luck im glad to see the other one is also a female!!!!!!!

I have a similar problem but opposite, rockwool to soil. The poor guy is abused. Good luck!
wierd to hear that, i got my gal from rockwool and he's now in soil at day 18 or so and looks amazing... infact here's a link to mine its a small grow, but my clone was about 2 nodes tall when i got her and had been in rockwool the whole time, i went straight to soil and have had 0 problems....

hey i just followed your link from the CFL section. great grow! you started NOV14 and i started NOV22 so im going to subscribe and keep track of your progress in comparison to mine. looks as though youre about to run out of vertical space. i had that problem as well but i switched my CFLs from vertical to horizontal along the top of the cabinet and that saved me quite a bit of space since the higher watt CFLs are much longer and waste vertical space. i also did some LST on every branch because flowering will double or even triple the plant in size... good luck with the grow

Thanks for visiting. I have to say the plant has already doubled in size since I started flowering.....maybe even more. I still have 10-11 inches of vertical space. Its gonna be close, but i may be alright. I also lost a couple weeks during the veg stage b/c these things were put under so much stress.

i wouldnt worry about it, according to your pictures they look just about the same as mine with the amount of hairs theyve got. now the difference between our plants is that i decided to trim a large portion of my fan leaves :wall:. mine looks naked with a bunch of bud sites and maybe 20% of the original fan leaves that were kept because they werent blocking any light. people say not to cut the fan leaves because they produce plant food but some have said trimming has its benefits. *shrugs* we'll compare the end result in a few months. any idea when you 'plan' to harvest? and how much yield are you aiming for?

I was also thinking about trimming some fan leaves. It would allow light to get to the secondary budsites down below, plus the bigger plant is creeping over the smaller plant. For now I might just leave them alone, I am not sure. This is my first grow, and I don't know what strain it is, so I have no idea when I will harvest. Nor do I know how much I might get, b/c again, I have never done this. I started flowering January 2nd, so 8 weeks would be right around the last week of Feb, first week of March.....if they take that long. I'm pretty much playing it by ear!

Well, I gave in a went ahead and cut off 3 fan leaves that were blocking a lot of the lower buds. I think thats all the trimming I am going to do. Damn, those fan leaves were HUGE!!!

cut up the leaves and mix it in with some bud for filler in your blunts. i recycle everything on the plant because i dont have the luxury of unlimited buds YET haha.

Update time!!!! Had to go out of town for a few days over the weekend......my two girls did excellent on their own for the first time! Buds are forming like crazy....and I also have some mad crystallization starting to happen. These are exciting times. Enjoy the pics and tell me what you think!

Bud shot on the bigger plant......

Inside the main cola.....

Shot of both plants.....

So as you can see by the last picture, the plant on the left is smaller, and the budsites aren;t as developed. But, it is coming along, I am just for sure will have to harvest that plant later. Its getting crowded in the cab, and the smell is starting to pick up. All I am using is MaxiBloom. Sometimes I use Culligan filtered water, sometimes I use tap water that has been sitting out a day or so. I can't tell a difference between the two waters. I keep my pH anywhere between 5.5 and 6.5....it fluctuates. Thats about it for now!

Thanks for looking!!
