The only thing I'm worried about now is the white stuff on the stalk of my plant. Its like a waxy substance. Is this normal? First time I've grown a plant like this so not sure if this is normal, a fungus etc.

It's the waxy substance on the upper part of the main stem seen here, poor air flow? any suggestions?:

i think that waxy shit is normal but im not 100% sure, generally plants will produce a waxy substance to protect againt high moisture and insects.

i know its on the trunk and not the leaf but probally the same idea.


oh and also, this series "The Dead Zone" is what me and my GF are watching now. its pretty good, based off a stephen king charecter.

Looking nice, I'll post up some pictures of mine tonight, they are starting to swell up and look good finally. Space Queen and Soma #10 are my 2 best at the moment.

Space queen looks and sounds nice I wanted to try it but really wanted something with purple in it so I ended up getting qrazy train maybe I can get the best of both worlds hopefully..peace

Damn lookin good so far bro! I'm really digging all the tops you have now, I'm trying to imagine how they would look if they still had the one main stalk up the middle, all those other buds that are now your colas would be like 2nd tier buds lol.

Definitely looking bomb!

I'm going to be updating my journal tomorrow morning first thing, so keep your eye out for that.

Looking forward to it! I think it was in your grow journal I found a youtube video on supercropping, helped out a lot. I think I'm going to try that along with topping for my next grow.

Sorry for the lack of decent updates. I'll try to make this a good one.

So Girls are coming along nicely, Hard to believe I'm coming up on end of week 4 of Flower.

I'm happy with what I've got so far but I'm learning so much about growing, I've definitely got the growing bug!

I've noticed a bit of crispyness at the tips of the leaves. I'm going to turn my exhaust fan up a little bit. My temps are running around 80 now and maybe I should be dialing them down??

I bought Teaming with Microbes and I've almost read the whole thing in less than 24 hours. Love it! I've decided that I'd like to grow as organic as possible from now on. For anyone who hasn't read or heard about it, I would consider checking it out. Especially if you're a bit of a science nerd like me. (Currently reading David Deutsch's latest book)

For my tea, I mixed 4 gallons of water:
cup o bat guano
2 cups o worm castings
Generous dose of General Organics Bio Weed - for Kelp/seaweed B vitamins (i know i know I should've measured according to the bottle but didn't)
Generous dose of General Organics Bio Marine - Cold processed squid
Diamond Black for Humic acids
4 tbs of molasses

I have no idea about the proportions so please don't take my recipe to be worth anything. In fact I would appreciate if anyone with experience could give me suggestions with what I have and maybe what ingredient(s) might be a good addition or if I should up or down the portions.

I'm just bubbling her now and will add either tomorrow or first thing Saturday morning. (I just feed and watered yesterday but I'm anxious to give them a little tea)

Looking great Ottawa! Im for sure here scopin ur thread, but the schedule's been shitty lately. That crop is looking mighty tasty sir! 80F is ok for air temps, but I'd say over 83F I'd be looking to increase ventilation or w/e you do with your particular setup. I just open my tent door a bit if things get a little too hot, but not many issues since I re-ran it all. Oh yea and please be sure to post your opinions on the tea and shtuffz! I know boatloads of peepz adopted that recipe from Heisenberg(for good reason ofc) but I've never really read through a thread that's shown it being used. Curiosity and whatnot ;) I'll check back for surez mane and keep em comin!
