Nope... Hempdepot.ca

It's actually located in Ottawa..

still came through the mail. I wanted to avoid any border crossings.

Check out the Beanhoarder prices. he has some good strain crosses and you get 20 beans for the price of 10... I'll let you know how it goes (through the journal)

Also after shopping around he had the cheapest prices of the TGA stuff as well.

Even subcool recommends him in the Organics forum here on RIU.. https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/500036-hemp-depot-support-thread.html

I think most of the TGA stuff was $75 for 10 beans

I took a bunch of pictures but I wasn't using a flash.... and clearly not a steady hand.. sorry for the garabage shots.. I'll try to do better next time.

Anyway the second photo is kind of funny.. I supercropped a stem just to try it out.. but did it a little late in the game obviously.. the weight of the bud has got this stem going horizontal.. I've propped it up within the tent so she is still getting lots of light...

Anyway Enjoy.. Day 39 of Flower

So not much new.. gave the ladies a feeding this evening.

The foliar spray seems to help a little bit

Don't know if it was the compost tea, under feeding or over feeding that has caused the issues for me.

I'm hoping that on my next round my soil is a little more well rounded and no deficiencies creep up on me.

I'll also be using tried and true genetics (Querkle) So hopefully that helps as well.

As you know, microbiology loves diversity. Subcool recommends Azomite to make the magic happen.

TGA beans? I'll join you with some Apollo!

Here are some shots.. First two are from same plant. She has better colour and less sign of Mg+ deficiencies but her buds have not filled out as much as the plant that is abused and used.

Jan 2012 weekend 014.jpgJan 2012 weekend 010.jpg

Used and Abused Plant that has most Mg Deficiencies... starting to show some N deficiency too.. but I understand this can be normal toward the end of flower? At least she is filling out more!

This plant is a week behind the others.. she is on day 35 or so...

Looking good Ottawa...I'm about 30 days behind you.

How much stretch did you see? Meaning--how tall were your plants at the beginning of 12/12 and how tall are they today?

I've never actually measured the plants.. but I would say that they are about 3 1/2 feet now. They are indica dominant. I also kept my light as close as possible throughout vegging and flowering to keep them as short as possible.. no training however as this was my first attempt

From now on i'll be topping and possibly a little bit of supercropping during veg

Wowowow, 3 1/2 ft.!!!! Lots of bud for Ottawa!!! Gotta be done stretching right?! I am putting in a request for a shot of all the girls in cab please(for comparison)!!! Can't wait for my buds to fatten up!!!

I'll check the height (I might be exaggerating, I'm not good at guessing measurements either) and take a shot of the canopy for you soon

Crappy Cell phone - Canopy shot as requested by Loyalty. Funny enough the tallest plant is the younger one (Top Right Corner: 1 week behind on flowering) The one in the bottom left is the same age as the other.. It's stunted all to hell (I even have it elevated on a small box)

The Bottom Right plant is the one that was Mg+ deficient. It seems to be recovering. The Top left plant seems about the healthiest but is also showing some Mg deficiencies :(

Not much to update..

1. Watered with heavy feed according to bottle (I don't have a ppm meter, is this so critical?)

2. Changed out the water in the CO2 yeast/sugar bottles

One of my girls is sticky sticky sticky. (Top left plant) Her buds have even started to fall over so I've had to prop her up with some sticks (likely more due to weak stems than the actual weight of the bud - I don't kids myself that I'm growing massive dense nugs yet!)

The best part is she smells just like lemon!!! :bigjoint:= :eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke:!!! It's tasty and I can't wait for the next two weeks to be over.

Growing without a ppm meter is like driving without a speedometer. You can do it no problem, but you might not know when your going a bit heavy

Okay.. dumb question.. how does one test for ppm? Is that an EC meter or whatever? anyone with a decent link?
I'm interested as well. I should probably get one of those meters myself. Although it hasn't been a problem yet....as far as I know :). Someone hook this man up with a link or two! Peace bro
Edit: thanks for the canopy shot too man, looks spectacular!

I don't have a link but theres some confusing stuff that needs to be cleared up about EC and ppm really quick.

there are all these different way to measure the amount of salt dissolved in a liquid and the most common names are TDS(total dissolved solids), EC(electrical conductivity, ppm using .7 converstion(take the EC and multiply it by 700), and ppm using .5 conversion(take the EC and multiply it by 500).
They are all measuring the same thing and that is how much salt is in the solution. Whether your meter reads out in EC, ppm.7, or ppm.5, it is a TDS meter. The TDS meter that I would most recommend you buying if you have the option is one that reads out in EC because there is only one scale for EC and you can avoid all the trouble and confusion associated with the two ppm scales.

everyone talks about ppm's but unless they specify which scale they are using it is anyones guess exactly how strong their solution is. Generally people use .7 scale, but the meter I bought reads out in .5 scale, not knowing this caused me to burn the crap out of my plants for the first 3 weeks. Hopefully this helps.

Yes I would like to see a link to this information as well

or you can just not overfeed you plant!!!

hydro this equip is necessary, soil it is not. follow the instructions on the bottle and only increase by small portions each feeding and you eill be fine :)
