Ahh the perks of opiate use lol. Good and dosed up equals no muscle control downstairs. I used to get so sedated I would have to pee sitting like a woman. If I tried while standing nothing would happen.

Will do. Thanks all. Super gassy right now. Still waiting kind of regret not getting these last night.

Gas is actually a great feeling whenever you're not able to shit..trust me, I know. but back in my high school days whenever the OC 's were like roxies,( I would sniff about 80 mgs a day) if I went without them I would get what some people call "The Bubbling Shits" I never figured out why either.

Because there are opioid receptors in the gut and when they get activated you get backed up then when you go into withdrawal they start freaking out. Immodium contains an opioid that doesn't cross the blood brain barrier very well that can be useful for managing the symptoms of withdrawal associated with the peripheral opioid receptors.

I have a herniated disc right now, so I've been hitting the norco's pretty heavy lately. Fiber and ducolax are your friends. Sounds like your already staying hydrated. If you think constipation is bad, Try not being able to pee! I was a month out of shoulder surgery when my now ex-wife left and I went on a bit of an opiate binge for a few days. I could stand @ the toilet for 10 minutes and just barely get a trickle.

i once was in a detox center, and being in a new place, couldn't get comfy enough to do what needed to be done.. and everyone knows a few days without some opiates are like turning on the water works..
well, after about 3 days of not being able to go still, i spoke up to the nurse, and she gave me some milk of magnesia, and holy crap, literally, about 3 or 4 hours later and i was glued to that toilet seat.. what a mistake that was.. talk about the most uncomfortable cramps ever, omfg, never again.

Sounds shitty. Sorry had to do it...

I like the ducolax because its fairly gental. Usualy takes about 12 hours to work. The also sell a suppository softener thats good at loosening that 'cork' up lol.

I've always thought that cleaning the bathroom at a detox has to be one of the worst jobs.

for me it wasn't that anything had to be loosened up per say, just that i had a bad case of stage fright from being in a strange place with strange people and no good magazines to read, lol..
i really didn't need to m.o.m. when i'm sure an issue of high times or f1 racing technology would have gotten the job done just as well..

lol this is one of the strangest posts I've ever made!
But I knew the collective hive mind here wouldn't steer me wrong. It's an odd problem, but I know people had to have experienced it before so I knew I was in the right place.

If you want a good laugh Google Robyn Williams stand up about constipation from pain meds.

Congrats man!
Among long term opioid users it's not really an odd thing. I'm REALLY glad it wasn't painful for you. I've gone on benders and forgotten to take fiber supplements and had shits that felt like giving birth.
I'll have to watch that one. Thanks!

Lucky you bro, in between days of banging heroin and shooting up roxys I usually shit like a damn water fountain.. I have to take 50-100mg of lope to get anything like a solid shit in my days of no opiates..
