Since putting in the new blue bulbs, these clones have really wanted to take off. The pics show the potting up.
Green algae stuff was in the water and around the base of the stems, but I did know that their mothers had mould problems and that it's a common thing for cheese strains. So I'm not too bothered by it right now, but will of course be keeping my eye firmly peeled for spreading.

They are looking a lot healthier now for the potting up and new light. Even starting to show the distinct cheesy lighter colouring on the leaf edges.

I should call this day 1, but I think I like it better from when it was sliced. So we'll stick with 8th day :P
I'm not too sure how long I want to veg the first one yet, but it will be very quick cos I'm in a rush to get one of these babies flowering and keep the other one longer for more cuttings.

Happy so far! :clap:

yeah stagger those harvests get yourself a lil perpetual going. i cant believe i live in the uk and have never actually smoked cheese that im aware of. i feel ashamed but guess ive just been on the dutch bud. theres loads of people whining about greenhouse seeds not possibly having "real" exodus in seed form. personally i dont give a shit, itll most likely be top notch cheese either way. that propogator is crazy btw! just some simple tupperware? hmm... worth a thought.

you gonna be using the same nutes as before?
I grew some GHS E Cheese and it was awesome. No clue what the real stuffs like but it was good none the less.

That Greenhouse shit is supposed to be da shit though brah :)
This Cheese is a good cure for insomnia. It makes you want to sleep proper. Not half as strong as the Blueberry Cheese but still that high grade taste, smell and high :)

Aye the stems are looking phat! at least double the width they were a week ago.
And you should always try everything once ;) lol

Lots of new growth to report from these two babies during their first week of veg.
Thicker stems, more leaf, more green, and about a cm in height.
I'm going to call the rest of this week, their first week. As they were only potted up a few days ago. So it's just a really long first week LoL It keeps things simple for me.

I reckon I'm gonna shock one of these at the weekend.
Gonna choose which one, pot her up and fling her in ;) then 8 weeks to bud!
The other I want some cuts from so she can stay.

I may be picking up a Blueberry Cheese clone on weekend to add to the collective ;)

At the end of week 1 of veg.
Seriously...
If this is what clones grow like then I never want to plant seeds again!

Before;
Remember when she came home in her root riot?;
This is after a few days, just taking root.
IMAG0274.jpg

After;
What they look like now, after apprx two weeks!

Sister got left behind to play Mother;
IMAG0332.jpg

Shocked!
IMAG0329.jpgIMAG0339.jpgIMAG0338.jpgIMAG0331.jpgIMAG0330.jpgIMAG0337.jpg

My plan now, is to leave the other one to veg. I'll hopefully get some clones from my other seedlings before I need to touch her again. By then I'm sure she'll be able to give me more than two clones to get vegging ;)

mate! .... looking really happy clones now, yeah i see your point about using the clones, much faster/cheaper (once you've got the mother running) i have a mate who asked me if i'd like up to 10 potted clones of ultimate cheese £7 each FFS.... i declined because of space and the cold during 12/12, which i'm fairly glad about now as they looked crap when he finished his ones LOL

so yeah i will be going down the cloning road once i start doing photoperiods and i have some choice strains to play with now :-)... i would like an army of white widow for example... oh i'm still the highest bidder on that climate thinggie i showed you .... so hopefully i'll be able to germ a non auto quite soon (thats if i win the auction)

the only thing about clones from mates is you have what they have ... theres no difference

I hear ya there man - get fed up of a strain pretty quickly.
My Big Bud and Fruit Punch I'm gonna mother-up ;) and take clones from them. Oh yeah, and the Budzilla when it comes. Check the Herbies site info on it, 25% THC ! That shit is gonna knock me out!! LoL
I think it's the way forward... to have multiple strains on the go.

Hang on... this guy is a mate and he's charging you £7 per clone? wtf! lol

you got any finishing cucumbers? and yeah keep mothers, wish i had taken clones tbh but im gonna do the rodelization method to get pollen, heard of it? if that goes to plan at least id get some seeds.

this ww of mine is done in 8 days like i said, got that horrible burned out feeling today after the sample.. has been a while since i smoked though. should be better in a week.

how much have you spent in total since your upgrades? and whats the list of what you got running atm?

also you two are lucky to have growers as mates lol id kill to be able to buy clones, maybe not £7 ea though

Thanks man, I feel lucky too having somewhere to go see some big buds growing to give me inspiration.

I've lost track of the spend total tbh, but I'd say it's around £50 or so, so far. Okay it's probably a little more than that, but I have been Blue Peter'ing it up and trying to utilise things from around the house and shed. Chopping wires here and and cutting up plates there LoL it's been real fun man, loving every minute!!

Stuff finishing... I wish! lol got a few weeks left for my haze/kush bagseeds to finish, could be two weeks could be four.... I know nothing about them so I gotta just try and judge it by eye. The Cheese though, I know for sure - so eight weeks left on that badboy ;)

For real with the clones, it's the way forward for true. I reckon another week or two and I'll be making some of my very own! ;)

Rodelisation. Yeah I've heard of it, it's where you confuse the plant into thinking the clocks have fuked up by changing the lights onto 24/0 for a day or two then back to 12/12.
Is that about right?? This makes them herm and produce pollen sacks which you collect. This also effects the entire crop...

There is an easier way to do it where you can just alter one single cola to produce pollen. Using a substance called Coloidal Silver, which you can make yourself pretty easily. Well, it's fairly easy. I haven't tried it, but comparing the two methods it most certainly seems a lot easier.
I suggest you research that one, WKBC. It's quicker, easier and you get to keep your crop! :)
I want to try it too, but I'm thinking of waiting till I move house. I just want to smoke these puppies and get the biggest yield and the best experience that I can before effing round with them and putting my entire crop at danger of herming.

What I'm running at the moment.

Flowering cab;
1x 65w CFL, due to be adding another, bigger one in a few weeks. But I would say that this wattage seems to be okay, for keeping them small.
1x 50w heating cable
1x 0.7A PC fan.
Plant Magic, Oldtimer organic nutes

Veg cab;
2x 23w 6400k bulbs - I'm to be adding more of these to replace the red ones very soon.
2x 20w 2700k bulbs.
2x 14w 2700k bulbs.
3x PC fan, at roughly 2A total
1x 50w heat cable
No nute veg boosters, only water - one shot of Plant Magic Boost every two weeks (this stuff is expensive but flippin awesome!)

As you can see, there's really not a lot to it. Other than the engineering involved for building the cab system for air flow, heat etc etc.

Mate, come and find me when you got your shit all cut down, I wanna see it! :)

Went out there just before, and there's new branches growing out already!! I just can't believe the quickness of the clones! compared to the seeds!

I'm actually hoping that this clone is gonna look like a bud growing from the soil. Before I even started that's what I wanted. I had a mate many years ago that used to grow his plants like this and i had always wondered how he managed to get a single massive bud to grow on it's own from the soil... I guess he did it like this? lol a tiny but mature cutting, flowered early.
We'll see hey :)

She's doing okay too.
Kinda making me wish I put her into shock with the other one. But at least it will be interesting to see the difference in growth, being the same age, one in flower and one in veg.

Her branches are still quite small, but I'm sure it'll only be a week or two before she can give me four clones.
