Exodus Cheese Clones - With CFL's only :)

Okay, wasn't sure where to put this so it's just in the 'Indoor Growing' forum. Even though it's out doors, kind of. In my shed.

Now, while researching what strains to get involved with I found that there was only a little information about different strains and not very many pics to see what they looked like. So I hope this thread may be useful to someone at some point.
Form cutting, to (hopefully) smokeo!

Many obstacles I have, with temps and what nots. But the premise of my project is cheap budget and minimal effort. Using mostly stuff from around the house.

I'm still on my first grow and my cab is still a work-in-progress. If you want to keep up with my first grow and my cab build you can check out my other thread;
https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/478214-experimental-micro-grow-cfls-1st.html

Now, my mate gave me these two clones, which are currently sitting under my kitchen strip light as my cab is being finished (the cab consists of a flowering cab and a veg cab, both equipped with fans and CFL lighting). They should be fine there for a day or two while they root up.
They're currently sitting in root riot cubes in a tray inside my new propagator. Where they'll stay until rooted.

I'm not entirely sure yet as to how long I'm going to veg them. Probably not long as I have some other seeds that need to be germinated too! And I'm in a rush LoL

They've been treated with a type of Clonex rooting hormone which has been tested and so far works. So we're now seeing if they take root happily.

The first step is the drooping...
They're still standing up a day after cutting so I expect them to start drooping maybe tonight or tomorrow. But that's normal. It may take a week before the new roots take hold and the little beggars stand up again.
I figure, after a week or two of standing up, they can then be potted up to small/mid size pots before going into their proper pots, once rooted there.

You'll have to excuse the bad quality of pics, I was proper stoned taking them last night and couldn't hold my hands still ! LoL

I will attempt to give you all an update once a week :)
And with better quality pics.

Oh, I should maybe have a poll here to have them named. If you have any ideas let me know!

And I hope you enjoy the thread :)

Good luck with it. Hopefully your clones won't droop though (ideally they shouldn't).

Peace, DST

Nice man. Aint them Kush supposed to have some massive yields?

Good luck with it. Hopefully your clones won't droop though (ideally they shouldn't).

Aye, I can hope they won't droop but this is my first time and they've already been transported from me mates house, and they seem to have a history of droopage too. So I'll have to wait and see I guess. It's all a learning experience for me at the moment. Thanks for the luck compadre!

We're starting to see a little bit of droop today. But I take that as a good thing really...
It means that the moisture is being evaporated from the plant as it's working hard beneath the surface, sending out little biddy root systems :)

I'll take a pic later.

Hopefully this means that a day or two will see them standing up straight again.

looking great Cumbers mate .... are those the jiffy pots? ... very neat.

sure they'll come round..... think maybe you should take a few clones of the HFP before you flip 12/12 on her.... more more more!

Yeah man, gonna take clones of all three strains before shocking them. And hopefully if I shock them all at different times I should be able to stagger the harvest times so I always got some fresh bud coming ;)

The cubes are Root Riot blocks and work wonders for both seeds and clones.

I did consider starting a new thread for these new ones, but I really can't be arsed with all these threads lol So I think I'll just keep these updates in here :)

yeah can't fault you.... was wondering how you'd keep up lol

keep thining about germing some more seeds ..... might do a couple of pineapple express next but scrog them, just seen a fellas thread... it was rammo with pineapple CHUNKS!.... so that and the fact you've strated yours makes me rather keen.... might wait until next weekend, so i know roughly how long i've got before i can get the cab back of the green o'matics lol... and bring them on while these are in the last couple of weeks

Little bit of droopage going on...

I took them out of the propagator as I figured they'd prefer the more direct light. I can't tell if the drooping is a cause of this through loss of moisture - being dried out by the lights - or whether it's just a natural process.

Anyway, I popped them back into the propagator shortly after and hopefully that'll sort them. I'll find out later when I get in to have a looky see.

:)

aghhhhh yeah they want warm and moist .... light don't really matter until roots develope and new growth shows ... they kinda shun bright light untill then. i think thats right anyway

yeah stagger those harvests get yourself a lil perpetual going. i cant believe i live in the uk and have never actually smoked cheese that im aware of. i feel ashamed but guess ive just been on the dutch bud. theres loads of people whining about greenhouse seeds not possibly having "real" exodus in seed form. personally i dont give a shit, itll most likely be top notch cheese either way. that propogator is crazy btw! just some simple tupperware? hmm... worth a thought.

you gonna be using the same nutes as before?

Thanks troutie, I'll make sure I keep them under the hood until I see new growth :)

Perpetual is what I want! :)
You never smoked Cheese? dayum bro! lol get out and try it mate lol Better still, grab some seeds and grow it lol!!
The Blueberry Cheese is strong as fook, knocks me out properly! This one, Exodus, my mate bought some seeds from Herbies Headshop and they're the bollocks. Not as strong as the blueberry but still kick ass bud!

The propagator (not home made this time) was just a couple of quid from The Range. And well worth the buy :)
Aye with the nutes bro - Plant Magic, Old Timers.

Droopage and dryness... but they still look very alive. No new growth as of yet, but I can see they want to...

As you can see the lower leaves are so dried out now that they're almost dead, but the upper leaves still appear to have life in them.

No new growth at all to report, but like I said, they appear to still be alive and trying hard...

there fine bruv..... i think?? ... i've seen some right manky looking clones come good, the middle smaller growth looks quite healthy and could and probably will power the all important root development quite nicely....

hang in there i think they'll be fine

I've done some preliminary comparisons to the earlier photo's and it does appear that these two have grown. Just a little.

I trimmed off the dead weight last night and gave them a good checking over. They look a lot healthier for it :)

The stems seem to have doubled in width. The second leaf set has grown a few mm. And there is definite resistance when I give them a little pull which suggests root growth.

They shall be staying in the propagator for the now, at least until I see proper new growth or roots sticking out the bottom, or both.
