I tried the bloom a/b and the microbial bloom in my 1st ebb and flow and had a slime and algae situation bad. I was using Advanced prior in coco and doing far better. However, I have a friend who uses it with decent results.Has anyone every tried heavy 16?
Yeah, the sucker who ended up in a psychiatrist's chair after pissing off his wife's paycheck. $550? Are you kidding me? http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/151114924105?lpid=82Has anyone every tried heavy 16?
More like a traction chair after she breaks every bone in his body !!Yeah, the sucker who ended up in a psychiatrist's chair after pissing off his wife's paycheck. $550? Are you kidding me? http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/151114924105?lpid=82
It never ceases to amaze me how many companies are STILL jumping on this bandwagon.More like a traction chair after she breaks every bone in his body !!
The shipping is free so that makes up for it LOL !! Much cheaper in hydro stores FYI. That ebay post is a ripoff artist looking for a guppy.
This is just my guess but I think the dolomite lime may be your issue. Dyna-Gro Grow is meant to be used in a hydroponic like medium meaning it is not pre-loaded with nutrients. Your dolomite lime is providing Ca/Mg on top of the Ca/Mg already in the Dyna-Gro Grow so you are getting "nutrient antagonism." Too much Ca or Mg will block other nutrients from being absorb. You may want to switch to a nutrient meant for lime soil like Jacks Classics 30-10-10. Or, switch to a soil that has no nutrients in it like Pro Mix or Sunshine mix...
Try watering with less volume so you still need to water every few days. Watering once per week seems problematic to me. My most robust plants, and they're robust because of a great root system, need watered every other day. Thanks HB,
First off, the soil mix is even parts of all the items. The cheap potting soil is 25% of the mix. By cheap i merely mean not MG or something with added fertilizers. I have used this same blend past grows with no issues.
The watering system is just like hand feeding. Nothing automated. I only water when needed. It just allows them to get a slow feed when I decide it is time.
I don't have a ppm/ec. My bad but haven't needed one prior.
My biggest change is moving to LED and adjusting feeding (when and how much to nute) to it. With less heat, plants see, to be drinking less. Past grows, with the same 3gal pots, I needed to water every third day. With LED (unless it is something else), that has been cut in half. For more on that you can look here:

Is that the ONLY thing you fed your plants?Last feed(Sunday) I used 1 ml of mag plus per gallon per the dyna feed chart. That was the first time i have given the full dose of the chart as I slowly build to it.
I greatly appreciate advise! like i said, looks like a deficiency accd to the old trusted chart but I don't want to fuck them up.
