I understand that and I was going to, and tried, to use 1/4 tsp per gallon but its only like 160 ppm or so. I bumped it up to 1/2 and fed because 160 ppm doesn't seem like it would do anything. The next and last time I fed I bumped it to dyna-gro's recommended 1tsp/gal for correcting deficiencies. One of my plants is starting to show the small rust spots of a calcium deficiency.Homebrewer said to go with 1/2 tsp per gallon for plants that are IN flower. Half of that for plants that are "still in veg" would be 1/4 tsp per gallon. He knows what he is talking about. According to what you just said, you are doubling the rate that he just suggested you use, in case you missed that. Just trying to be helpful.
They also recommend 2-3 tsp for "hydroponic production" which I would never try but I also don't see how 1 tsp/gal (500 ppm) is going to burn my plants.
Like I said I will back it down to 1/2 tsp/gal and go from there. I will keep you guys posted. I respect @homebrewer and respect his opinions, I do. But this is a test so that is what I am doing... Running it through its paces.
