Question for those using Rapid Rooters. Are you concerned about getting organic material from these down in your water? I see someone asked that question on the GH website and the answer was to use the coco-tech mats. Anybody use those? I'm not clear on how they are used - do you just cut a piece to cover the bottom of the netpot or does it need to come up the sides as well? Then you still use hydronton to fill in, right?

You know me and i go against the grain.I use rapid rooter plugs and have no issues with organic material getting into my res.I do not use feeder tubes either.I just put a inch of hydroton on the bottom and then the plug,no problem bro.Check out the dual journal just started in my sig.

Well if you look at those high rez pixels, I was able to get pretty close. Close enough to tell that most of the triches are cloudy. and only about 10% are amber.


Tell me if you can tell or not from the BIG pix.

Cause I think 1 more week then flush for 2 weeks, then harvest. However, first time getting far so I could be wrong.

You should be flushed already. Imo

need some help ive put my seedlings in soil in 3inch sq pots for about 3days , now i want to put them in net pots . do i [a] put the seedling in rockwool which has a 2in circle cut out with the little bit of soil thats in the seedling pot {3in sq } or rinse off the soil and use the rockwool or [c] put the soil cube in the net pot or [d] rinse the soil and put direct into the net pot with the stones ??

I thought maybe when that new shoot came out it got confused and sent out an upper and a downer. bongsmilie
