Just about anything can be used as a weapon, but we are talking about firearms. We already have lots of gun laws, or "restrictions". Can you go to wal-mart and buy a full-auto AR15 or AK47? No, but you can apply for a class 3 license and see if you get it. That's called a gun restriction and it's a good thing.

Those laws are unconstitutional therefore should be void and the politician that wrote the bill should be charged with treason. I realize that the Constitution is meaningless to congress and apparently half of society, but even if you agree with these laws, it doesn't make them less unconstitutional. If we disregard these laws then why not disregard ALL laws?

My grandfather was shot to death sitting in his recliner, by his neighbor who he had known for over 30 years. That does not make me want to restrict people's freedom or ban guns. Degradation of society is what causes violence, and all the laws in the world will not change that.

Absolutely, I also believe that ALL narcotics, gambling, prostitution, etc. should be legal. People need to be responsible for their own choices, if you want to gamble your kid's college fund away, that's your problem. The feds have no place telling people which habits they can and can't have, as long as what you do doesn't negatively affect others you aren't doing wrong. If you DO negatively affect others then there's the justice system patiently waiting to try you.

If mommy and daddy are too busy "saving the world" to watch their children, they shouldn't have had any. Children can't buy beer or cigarettes either but they are both legal.
