Over a couple days. Don’t like to do it over time unless I don’t have a choice.Did you take off all the undergrowth at one time or over a few days?

Where and when you prune is up to you to learn what works best for your method and environment. Doing it wrong can hurt yield.I was curious about that. Like is it ok to take it all in one day or stretch the pruning outbover a few days. I thought that it was better to prune before flowering?
I was under the impression anything below the canopy should go but to trim off a week or so before the flip. Basically only trimming small growth and any side branches that won’t reach the canopy and not tontealy trim much during flower as it could hurt yields like you said. Haven’t done a true scrog before so I guess I need to brush up on that part. Did one before but it turned more into just a support stucture as I didn’t trellis during the initial stretch when flipped or trim. But so far mine looks good. Getting into the 6th and 5th week in veg from seed On my three plants so still got a ways to go before the flip. I’ll post a pic here if it’s cool so you could see and give any advice or y’all can check out my journal.Where and when you prune is up to you to learn what works best for your method and environment. This isn’t a scrog either, skeletal support. I did weave, but didn’t flip soon enough because the tops are way above the net. I hope to do an actual scrog with these lvtk I got soaking.I was under the impression anything below the canopy should go but to trim off a week or so before the flip. Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve got some spinosad on the way and a sprayer.Capt Jacks and a no pest strip.Just dealt with them myself.Third time in quite a few years.
At least they're an easy one to get rid of.
A common pest. I’ve not had to deal with them before. What’s thrips?
Captain Jack's worked great for me tooThanks for the suggestion. I’ve got some spinosad on the way and a sprayer.
I put up some yellow sticky traps to catch the flying adults.
The only other pest I’ve dealt with is fungus gnats. BTi doesn’t work on thrips though. That’s the only other pesticide I have until that spinosad gets here.
I’m not gonna spray my flowering plant at all. I’ll put up sticky traps and spread some DE on the floor of the tent to catch any larvae that fall to pupate. But hopefully there aren’t any in there at all. I’m pretty good about washing to avoid cross contamination but I doubt I was careful enough.

I'll use them but not in the flowering tent. I'm going to put one in with the moms. It's pretty bad, I've got 5 adults per square on the sticky trap that faces the affected plants. Some people frown on them but in my opinion you aren't to far into flower to toss a no-pest strip in the tent for a few nights.Gotta kill the exhaust though.

This plant only has 30 or so days left in flower. I’m not seeing any thrip damage on it so I’m not going to treat for it. Worst case scenario I end up with more material for RSO.Yeah man i feel ya.I don't dig usin crazy shit like the no-pest strips myself but some times ya gotta do what ya gotta do.I used some once in flower but i was at like 16 or 17 days in.Luckily this this time was in the veg are and was just starting harvest.Held off for a week while i cleaned up the flower room good and kept 3 no pest strips in there for the 7 days.I could crack the door 1/4 inch and the fumes hit me good so hopefully ANYTHING that may have been in there too is FUBARed.
