I just wanna make a testament on here to everyone about how great Botanicare Liquid Karma is.
As I've been dealing with seeds that are anywhere between 9 and 12 years old and improperly stored I was getting horrible germ rates.. like 6-8% it was bad. Real bad. I know it was my fault for not replacing the seed fridge once it died but with my tumor and neuro issues it just wasn't a priority. I knew I couldn't grow for a long time so I just stuck my seed vials in a toolbox and that toolbox was packed away in a box in the closet for years now.
Anyway.. I'll get to the point. I bought some Liquid Karma just recently, a new bottle. I applied 3ml/gallon to some de-chlorinated tap water that I've had in a bucket and used that to soak these old seeds with before applying the paper towel method. I only use plain white Kleenex Vivas btw.. and what a difference first hand.
I went from my measly 6-8% germ rates on these old seeds to over 30%. I couldn't believe it with my own eyes. Problem now is I germinated far too many lol.
Got a bunch of these to germinate and kept 5 each of the following:
Black Guava (Top Dawg Guava 13 [HP 13 NYC x Stardawg Guava cut] x Heath Robinsons Black Rose [Black Russian x Shiva Skunk] I had mentioned this prior but had the lineage wrong. This is correct by having the Black Rose mom.
Kandy Train (TGA Qrazy Train [Black Trainwreck x Jack the Ripper] x DNA Kandy Kush [OG Kush x Trainwreck]
The Black Guavas and Kandy Train seeds were given to me by friends I made back in the old days on The Seed Depot before the admin robbed us blind and the site got shut down. Wheezer (RIP old buddy) did the Kandy Trains.. and the Black Guava's came from Daren.. I can't remember his old forum name tho for the life of me.
They looked vigorous and it's all thanks to the Liquid Karma. Seeing it with my own eyes was pretty shocking. It made a huge difference. I have been preaching for years how great this stuff is but this just blew me away. It's important to note that Liquid Karma must be stored in the refrigerator once opened and also it doesn't have a long shelf life. I replace it after 6 weeks max.
I have some other strains still germinating that I started later. Plushberry, Querkleberry OG, Kodama, Mochalope, Firestarter. I'm afraid now I may have way too many seedlings to deal with.
The few Bodhi Blackberry Lotus and the lone Hazeman Cocoa Puff are also doing fine. I wish I had that bottle of Liquid Karma when I started germinating those. I know I would have came up with more than the few numbers of these that actually pulled through. They're all under LED light right now in a makeshift grow box that I constructed.
