Nope it wasn't even on the add-onns when I bought the tent I think not unless I missed it Ill look into that after I've written this to you I didn't know you could control the fans speed I thought it was just a set speed.I thought maybe you bought the speed controller with it.
Wow look lovely them like buddy, Is is the same size tent as mine 1x2 1x2 200? So I've obviously got my carbon and my outtake fan but what and where do you put the intake just in one off the vents and tighten the cords, I'm confused see ed here now lol. Is a intake just the same fan as connected to the carbon filter but it's situated in one off the lower even holes?View attachment 4213111 Need a fan and intake bringing in cold air if your running 600w might get a bit hot with the size of the tent get a 4-5" bringing in and same taking out that's my opinion. And just watch your light as you can see some of mine have stretched quiete a lot but nearly same set up a short yours.
If you bought the fan from here https://www.growell.co.uk/fans-filters-environment/extraction-filtration-kits/eco-extraction-kits.html (like you posted) the fan controller option is right below mate.
I'm running 9 In a 4 x 4 at the moment but you can run 60 odd or 1. It all depends on the style of grow that suites you and your penalties. On another note how many plants do you think I can fit in my tent? 4-5?
Hey lucky Luke been a while lol Was talking to you on another thread ages ago, What do you think off my new setup? I ideally want 5 plants in the only training I will be doing to them is topping them, I not that much off a experienced grower yet to start experimenting with growing even canopy in the plant, just say I put 5 in and pull 2 and a half 3 ounce a plant my first run I'd be over the moon specially with it been my first propped grow in a tent.I'm running 9 In a 4 x 4 at the moment but you can run 60 odd or 1. Its all about filling the tent with the canopy. If lights hitting the floor your wasting light and losing yield.
yea, all good mate, I would also suggest putting the extraction fan out side of the tent but then you may need more ducting...Funds are limited so put that down for later on if you don't have enough spare.Hey lucky Luke been a while lol Was talking to you on another thread ages ago, What do you think off my new setup? Good good buddy, I've got a little ducting spare but I don't think it would be enough for the fan to be outside , How come put the fan outside I've seen a few people on here do this, Is it purely because off a space thing??yea, all good mate, I would also suggest putting the extraction fan out side of the tent but then you may need more ducting...Funds are limited so put that down for later on if you don't have enough spare.
Get in and make the grow happen! GL
Same tent mate...and no to far from you ethier so weather is all the same you'll be fine...yeah you can have it inside the tent or out it's up to you just sucking cold air in to blow inside the tentWow look lovely them like buddy, Is is the same size tent as mine 1x2 1x2 200? On the other hand I can't wait to grow my White Widow and Royal Cheese lol!!
I'd be cautious of those cheap fan speed controllers. Many people complained of humming noises and they are said to end the life of the bearings faster. It's to do with changing the W and not the actual voltage or so. I have the more expensive thermo controlled V step controller but it's not something you really need now for your current set up. Look into that much later down the line for consistent control. The cheaper thermo controller I linked you earlier may well be all you ever need.
The cheap manual fan controllers take a lot more micro management, so you are more prone to bad temp swings. Not trying to put you off or prove myself right on the thermo controller.. but just some pit falls to know.
If you are in soil top them once with a 4 week veg, if in coco top twice. 6 weeks veg would be better, particularly in soil but I understand the want to get them into flower sooner. Try to give them at least one week recovery after final topping before flip. 2 weeks recovery can be better in soil but with only 4 weeks veg you may have to top on 3rd week depending on growth. They should be good to top in 2nd week and 3rd week in coco. Just don't force it if you are not getting quick enough growth. Read more into it and look into journals so you can see how big peoples plants are getting in 4 weeks of veg. You need that perspective to make your own call.Another question folks I forgot to ask, How long should I veg for? My tent is 1x2 1x2 and 2 meters high? I just don't want to veg controlling then switch to 12/12 then my plants double in size and not having enough room for them, Plus im vegging on 18/6 not straight 24 hour light.
In fact I'm going to post another thread in this section lol
I'm growing in coco this time with 16L Ryhzo pots that came today, I only have one bag off coco "Natural" I hope I can fill all four pots with it, I was growing in soil last time but I ran into that many problems whilst using it son I researched ALOT about coco and decided to go down that route, I have Canna Coco A+B, Rhzotonic, Cannazym, PK 13/14 and boost accelerator, Ohhh and the Canna Flush arrived today to , So I've got every thing I need , I'm growing 2 White Widow and 2 Royal Cheese both from Royal Queen Seeds I do have a extra white widow seed but I'm going to germ it just before these go into flower and experiment with a 12/12 lolIf you are in soil top them once with a 4 week veg, if in coco top twice. 6 weeks veg would be better, particularly in soil but I understand the want to get them into flower sooner. In either case they should yield at-least 20% more this way. But again, if you are not getting quick enough growth do not force it, you'll lose yield topping plants that can't recover in time.
