No, open a bottom tent vent before you pop it..!
That would be great cheers buddy I thought it was a little peculiar when I put it on and my full tent sucked in, Saying that my dad did shut all the vents on it that I wasn't using, So should i just open every very vent to prevent this from hapoening? I'll open all the vents in the Morning, But obviously I will have to close all the vents when I'm flowering won't I to prevent light leaks? But obviously leave them open when the fans are on.Open all the vents on the bottom, that fan is strong.. it ''may'' be too strong for the filter/tent size. If the filter is too small the fan will over work and die sooner, so is said.
I'll try and link you a nice little thermo cut out that will stop the fan working full belt all the time.
You can test filter. Watch your fan/duct leading to the filter, if the ducting looks like it flexes in when the fan starts, and/or the fan sways a bit on start up, the filter is too small. I'll look for the link now.
The fan should be on 24/7, it will help regulate humidity to avoid mold. You will have a very large humidity spike around lights off time, if vents are closed+no circulation it's high risk. That would be great cheers buddy I thought it was a little peculiar when I put it on and my full tent sucked in, Saying that my dad did shut all the vents on it that I wasn't using, So should i just open every very vent to prevent this from hapoening? If you have no way to control your fan speed try THIS
Plug your fan and heater into it, read instructions.

What you can do, worse case, is put some short ducking through every duct vent available and bend it 90 degree as it enters the tent and the same as it leaves the tent, like a U shape (upside down though > gravity ;p). Don't attach them to anything. They basically act as a way to let air in but not light (so long as you don't have a very bright light on in the room).
Btw, those weed prices, you surely live in Scotland?.
Ahhh it's a baby one ;p. Yeah you should be ok with that, just watch carefully in the peak of summer though. Still look into the thermo cut out, will save electric and keep root temps nice. I suggest setting to root temps if you use it, keep probe at that level.About that as well buddy the Carbon filter and the fan match I forgot to mention this to you in your post, Ill get it up for you here,
That is the carbon filter and the fan they are both matched ,

It's the second one down the one for,
RVK125A1 Eco Extraction Kit 2 - (220m3/hour)
£119.95
Thats the carbon filter and the fan setup in my tent.
Hahaha Ahh I see, But overall it's still a good carbon and filter though? And not a bad kit for a beginner? ill PM you when my plants are in with pics you've given me some good advice. I plan to keep the tent and replace the carbon filter and the fan in around 9 months, Get around 2-3 grows with it first.Ahhh it's a baby one ;p. Yeah you should keep the fan on. Use the 2? extra available duct holes with the U bend. If you MUST close the mesh air vents for light issues then you'll have to cut some extra holes in the tent to use more U bends. Not ideal and you'll have to duck tape shit up to seal it light tight. Also wrap some black bags around the ducting as that cheap silver stuff light leeks through the membrane tinfoil. You can buy double layer black ducting but it's not very cheap, although the better option.Check that out what i have just said there buddy and linked you in for you, The carbon filter and the fan is £120 I asked a few off my buddies who grow and they said it's a cracking carbon and filter, Yeah I understand about bending the ducting, So when i flip to 12/12 shall I keep the carbon and the fan on? Then there the problem off the tent sucking in because obviously I will have to close all the vents to prevent light sneaking in. Or shall just do what you said do with the ducting i have plenty left i ordered more on top off what i got lol.
No no I don't live in Scotland I live in the north east off England and, Seriously we get 1.6 for £20 and we get 0.8 for £10!! It's extortion my friend, Not unless you know someone who has just pulled some down and they "give" you it for less lol
If you put some ac air filter screen over the bottom screened vents, it will stop dust and other smaller particles from entering the tent and will also keep light out at night, just dont turn on anything really bright. Your exhaust fan should be on 24/7 not just in flowering, all the time. you can turn it down at night so it isnt so loud (i do this) when lights are out. when lights come back on turn the exhaust fan on full blast again. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Flanders-4-Filters-12-X-24-X-1-Precisionaire-Nested-Glass-Air-Filter/16225743?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&adid=22222222227025239326&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=165557799063&wl4=pla-254976549006&wl5=9011890&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=online&wl12=16225743&wl13=&veh=sem&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3ripuLr63QIVhEGGCh26TAbJEAQYBSABEgLBy_D_BwECheers for the advice buddy I'm learning as I suppose so when flowering time comes, Leave the fan on 24/7? I only have the one exhaust fan though sucking air out the tent or do you mean leave the clip on fan on, circulating in the grow tent? When it's lights out in flowering 12/12? Yeah ill do the U bend thing I fully understand that but even though I'm not the brightest lamp in the street, My tent is in my spare bedroom my house is a 2 bedroom house one for me and one for my other ladies lol So it will be pitch Black in the room specially with winter coming I was thinking off doing 6 until 6 for flowering because it's normally pitch black at 6 in the morning in the winter and vice versa on the night.
My tent is right in the corner and the vent is right there to, It was one off those mesh ones though but it wouldn't move up or down so I completely removed the mesh with a screwdriver and the vent now there is just a little hole in the wall where the ducting can go you can see outside now. (There is a window near my tent but I didn't want ducting sticking out off it lol) I'm going to stick a Hoover in there tomorrow where I've took it off and give it a bit off a clean it looks a bit dusty, Then stick some old newspaper to keep it in and not falling out.
black shit comes off those, I have spare sheets of those as well. The charcoal will go everywhere.
Ahhh so the exhaust fan should be on 24/7 even during the flowering period? You mentioned turning your fan down so it isn't as loud I don't think I can do this, When putting it together I had to wire it up which was a surprise because i thought it would come already wired up, Do you have to buy a fan speed controller device to control it? $If you put some ac air filter screen over the bottom screened vents, it will stop dust and other smaller particles from entering the tent and will also keep light out at night, just dont turn on anything really bright. I thought maybe you bought the speed controller with it.Ahhh so the exhaust fan should be on 24/7 even during the flowering period?
