Doctornutes Indian Bagseed Outdoor Grow Journal.

Hey Guys!

I am almost a beginner grower who is trying to master cannabis cultivation to achieve great yeilds outdoors. " Almost" because I've harvested few outdoor crops last season and I have idea about basic training and growing techniques. "Beginner" because I wasted 12 HQ seeds by Attitude Seedbank trying to germinate them.

As I am left with no HQ seeds right now, I will be trying to grow some bagseeds that I got from my last score. I am From Bihar, India ( Eastern Ghats) and most of our weed comes from Kerela & Andhra region ( supposedly Sheelavathi ). We have cwa (Sub-tropical Humid) climate here. The maximum hours of sunlight we get is 14 hours and it goes down to 10 hours a day in fall.

I have germjnated seeds from 3 types of strain. I've named them aswell in order to track and record the progress. The seedlings in 6 in. pots will be called Goku's Breath because I got it from the strain which had enormous amount of orange pistils which gave the buds a unique appearance. The potency was way stronger than the stuff we get here locally. Terpene profile was good too. It smelled earthy and pine like. The effects were like typical Indica, sedative.

The second strain is called Bride's delight. It had deisel and earhy flavour and terpenes. The effects were like typical sativa. Energizing and good for daytime use. The potency was mild but I had great sex after that. So I guess It deserved to be regrown with what's possible, seeds obviously.

The Third strain is named Blood Dragon and it was most probably sativa dom. The buds were very long and less dense than indica buds. It has a very strong smell which I can't judge. I have never smelled that kind of aroma, its very unique and it's not artificial smell, I gaurantee.

Goku's breath 4 seeds germinated on 3rd and 4th July and are healthy till now.

Brides delight 4 seeds germinated on 7th July and are healthy too.

Blood dragon 1 seed germinated on 8th July and are healthy too.

Welcome to RIU. I am in USA. I'm happy to see a grow in India. I wish I could know the genetics you see there locally.

Good luck! Peace:peace:

Thanks a lot Tracker. I am glad you are interested. My motive with this grow is to improve the quality of strains we usually get here. The strains we get here definitely have good genetics ( Not good as Cali strains) but they are handled and cured in a very unprofessional way. Most of the trichomes wears off from the strain during curing and transportation. With this grow, I'm trying to get most out of those manhandled strains.

Thanks a lot for your response. I'll be happiest if you follow along and guide me to achieve the desired results.

Wow ! This is quite interesting. Im running a few bagseed a myself in Cali, I too lost all the seeds I successfully germinated from Humboldt seed co pineapple upside down cake, but later heard it was a bad genetic and they shut that line down pretty quick. This year I’m running a couple bag seed I think one is wedding cake and another obscure og possible el Chopo, Diablo or Frankenstein. So two plants could be any of those. Then I have 3 Goji Oj (Nepalese/African cross) from Equilibrium, running a outdoor scrog setup on a hillside. Bon Chance.
