Do you smoke the night before you work?

Anytime the night before and when I worked, several time through the day. Depends.somewhat on the job but I know many people that partake during work, probably makes the day bearable.
Alcohol is much different and is dangerous.

I have no problem the next day, smoke or edibles. I don’t smoke before work. Being a surveyor, you have to be a diplomat as well and have conversations with clients. Better to have a clear head… not to mention the safety issues. Dead trees, machete work… I injure myself with a clear head. I’ve dinged myself driving a corner pin with the sledge. No broken bones yet but many bruises. After work though, it’s on! As soon as I get home and comfortable… then after dinner then about every hr til bedtime. Sleep like the dead and piss of the wife with my snoring.lol!

Well ive worked alot of different jobs and i smoke on the job if possible i know myself and my limitations plus i smoke alot of weed anyway i never say it slows you down or is dodgy its not alcohol or sleeping meds those two are much more likely to cause people problems fuck even working on a knife all day i can still do it stoned and never mess myself up i can work at heights baked too if anything it just makes you a lil more careful then if anything id really say it comes down to you i got adhd so it helps me to concentrate imo plus any stone over wears off fast id say

Really depends on the job, whether it's okay to be stoned during. Like if you work at an aquarium store...duh. But if you are a cop or doing social services or something, of course not. Fast food workers yes, Doctors no. Basically any low paid activity benefits from cannabis, but with any high paid activity, smoke after work.

I would agree with that.

If I was flipping burgers for a living instead of working in a high school I might then have the need to blaze up on a break lol.

Got a great boss. Doesn't mind me smoking on the job except when meeting clients. He does a wake n' bake almost every morning and has a Volcano right next to his desk. He's self-employed in a 1-man firm.

They smoke too i know doctors who blaze lol they just cant be blatant about it or be stinking of weed as you and others said depends on the job plus theres obviously the negative stigma attached as well so yeah plus if you live where it aint legal there is that crap to contend with too

Had a job interview in Florida for stucco work in the early 90’s. Showed up first day and boss said there is a drug test… see if mine is better than yours…(weed) I looked at him and said “ we’ll see on Friday after I get paid” and he said it better be Friday cuz you get paid Thursday… then he handed me a bag and some E-Z wipers and said roll me a hog leg and let’s get this safety meeting started! Lol rolled one the size of my thumb and got a dollar raise when he saw it!. With that job it was beginning of day and every break. And on fridays he had a cooler of beer at the shop waiting when work was done. And sometimes the BBQ was running with meat cooking as well. He was a great boss! Had a stucco company to support family and fund his motorcycle drag racing habit!

I'd smoke a doobie EVERY morning before laying pipe & other utilities. Then again 2 hours later, then again 2 hours later, then a lunch doobie, then 2 hours later, then again 2 hours later and then a celebration doobie after work to congratulate myself on still being upright. I did eventually break into pieces but I'm not in a ditch anymore and I smoke ALL DAY.

Not entirely true. Kind of depends on the job and what its risks are. I’m pretty well paid, but yet I’m okay to toke it while at work.

I've worked factory jobs where I often got high at work. Managment prefered it when I was since I was less chatty and just knuckled down more and did my work. I found it easier to get in the flow, in the zone, just listening to podcasts and getting on with it.

I work on CNC machines, drive giant pickers, and finish painting as well. I dab all day at work. I have a dr note.

With some people or low users, I tapered up and down to nothing many times (I did get blowed and could never stop talking about it, annoying I know lol) and when you are low tolerance, RSO or smoking can make you get like this adrenaline rush flash back light rush for no reason suddenly the next day like “shit! I am still high!” and some jobs, that can be a no no. Hell,


I tend to often think I am not high until I feel pressure from anything you could make as an example, like your boss calling you and asking you to go into work or etc and suddenly, devil dick eyes and discordinatuon lol

but that is also known to me as a buzz kill amd it does quickly turn to nothing. Just depends on what level user you really are and what you do.

It takes practice too, like learning how to use you high brain lol work around the loopholes. Find tricks to stay on track even if you accidently got too stoned and cannot be.

I will say eyedrops help like a mugg, hard to worry if you look clean as a whistle to help with that carrying over haziness that might bring some anxiety for lower level use during week.

I almost forgot Safety Meetings! Good times.

The handheld vaporizers available help a LOT-it's hard to cover up blunt smoke, but a few minutes outside and most of the lingering vape scent wafts off.

Retired now but when I worked I never got high on the job. I was the supervisor so it was imperative I keep a clear head, we had some pretty expensive parts, a fuck up could cost us 10's of thousands of dollars and weeks waiting for a replacement casting. So I had to be the adult in the room. When I got home I had one burning as soon as I sat down.

I used to work in the training department for a large company. I ran the safety training classes. Sometimes I was stoned.
