I'm usually a cat person, but The Dawg is welcome in my garden.

Temps are high, and so am I.

I decided to defoliate a bit more under the bulk of the canopy. Lollipopping the under growth, and removing some that will just not develop well enough to care. I'm all for dry ice hash, but I'd rather see more swelling through the tops. I've supercropped many of the chutes heading skyward off of the mains. Also trying to get the "corner" branches to lean out more and open up more for light to penetrate.

They're about to get fed too, last feed was 1160, I'll shoot for the same this time.

Trichs keep increasing. A few hair tips are just turning tan/brown.

Lookin good dj! Get some yellow sticky traps, thrips love to stick to them and die lol. They're also good to use even without a bug problem, bugs like thrips and gnats will always show up on the traps first to warn you before you ever see them on your leaves, good insurance.

Week 10, Day 1. Day 64 total, 35 Veg, 29th Flowering.

Tallest tip is <12 inches from the face of the light. No signs of bleaching. Bug issue seems to be handled. I haven't seen any since I sprayed yesterday, but I should look REAL close. I stretched out Wendy a bit more, she's wall to wall now. Wilma couldn't care, she's doin' her thang... I'm waiting to see when she stops growing up.

Flowering time is listed as 8-10 weeks. If it's 8, then I have 4 weeks. If it's 10, then I have 6 weeks.

It slipped my mind, I've used them in the pantry many times, never clicked *facepalm*

I haven't seen any bugs yet today, but I'll grab some sticky strips for sure.

Thanks for the kind words, it is appreciated. (everyone included)

All is well. I've been busy, changing employers, changing some other life characteristics, and trying to be an adult.

End of Week 11 total, end of week 6 of flowering, Day 77 overall.

Fed 1160 @ 5.9, bottom feed, "drain to waste", Canna Coco A + B, CaMg+, Drip Clean, and I'm running out of additives.

No reoccurring bug issues.

temps and RH seem to be pretty damn decent.

claimed "8-10 week flowering", it definitely has >2wks to go.

They are starting to indulge the nostrils when I open the door.

They look so good. Perfect spear shapes.
>1200umoles should be bouncing around at that spacing! I'm looking forward to slicing one of these open to see the density.

Also, I've never seen trichs on the bottoms of the leaves like this (in person) before. They follow the veins like mohawks. The bigger one has it on all the top buds, the shorter plant has it on the tips of the tops. I know it can't be an LED thing, just never noticed.

They're fattening up day by day. I'm not making claims on outcome, but I'm sure I'm going to be very happy.

Feeds are every 3 days, no exceptions. Could be placement compared to the oscillating fan, but it seems that the taller plant (8 colas) is consuming/evaporating less.

Next time around, I'm making mainline rings. They only fit well in the arrangement as seen, or with the front one turned 180. I'd like to be able to rotate them, front to back at least, without cramming buds up against either fan. I'm considering a different oscillating fan, but it's the only one I found that wouldn't block light.
I'd like to do a comparison of 4x tops vs 8x tops. Lean the 4's out a tad to expose all of the branch, versus a well pruned 8x.

Flash on, lights off

Ground to tip, the tall one is 31" tall(pot is 11"), and the short one is 28" tall(pot is 11").

When they get moved around, it's easy to tell they're packing on weight up top.

The second pic with a flash is to show the underside trich development.

Thanks for the kind words gents. Comparing me to Nug's is enough to make me blush ... maybe it's in the water, and being "downstream" from the master works in my favor??

The value of the light has gone up in the last 10 weeks, I love this thing. As long as it continues to operate as it has, I'll spread great reputation to Area 51 LED. The ladies would not be near as pretty if those 5 watters didn't penetrate that canopy so well.

I haven't kept track, but I feel like there should be a challenge for best yield off a plant <24" tall from the top of the medium. This was/is one of my goals, and I like the results so far. Mainlining is my friend.

I'm still planning on getting a legit lab test on this, I want to know for "scientific reasons"... and so I have a goal to beat.

If it's true that plants pick up off good vibrations and "love", then these are here to show it. We have had many long conversations, from preparing them for a haircut, to being comfortable putting on some weight. They're comfortable with me seeing other ladies too, we cleared that up right away.

Also dj, Ive got four running in about a 4-5 by 2 foot area, and now in flower for about a week, i can see the earlier finishing strains already putting on buds and swelling up around the stem. So amazing, cant wait to see what your finish weight on these bad hoes are. keep it up! Im hoping for atleast a pound with four lights 3 shorter stockier plants with minimal to slight stretch, and two monsters one mainly sativa and its just turning into an Uber monster, outgrowing the rest. Im all about spreading some reputation around for Area51, i got these great lights at an incredible price with free shipping!! thats awesome, rock on american companies!

My plants were 6" tall from the top of the pots on day 1 of 12/12

Now they're 20 & 17" tall (from the top of the pot)

They can be whores if they want, I brought them up well.
They definitely have the aroma of medicinal plants.

As far as yield goes, I'm happy without numbers, but obviously I will find out. I stick by the rule, "Never expect a pound, unless you've done it before."
~5.6 would be 1GPW, but that's also over allowances within this state (even if I was a caregiver to one other person besides myself). All I want is to have a clean finish and a quality product for myself to use.

Here's the plan this far.
Week 13 total, Week 8 of flowering, I'm going to lower the light schedule to 11:30/12:30
Week 14 total, Week 9 of flowering, I'll drop it to 11/13
And hopefully they will finish by the end of week 15 total, week 10 of flowering.

Hairs are turning brown, but still 40% or so.

I'm all for recommendations on when to chop 'em. I have been thinking about harvesting them separately. Save some sanity and chop/trim for a 3-4 days, let some of the lowers get all the light for a couple days.
