Youre vegg game is so on point compared to what weve had from our old cultivar, nothing but finickery, purple stems and complaining leaves. And you get your green at 19C! Need to come and visit and have a look. Or if youre ever bound for Spannabis ;)
Cheers mate.
I've just chopped 3 x Gorrillas grown in the shed a couple of days ago and a Moby Dick yesterday. All flowered in cool temps. ~20°C 60°F lights on temps , low teens lights off lol
I must check temps in clone/veg area, probably around 12- 14°C!
It's interesting to see how far from optimum conditions these plants can handle.
Perhaps it's the shed that holds the magic sauce,...........

Transplanted the 4 x RQS Royal Gorrilla about 2 hours ago and put them in the tent with both lights on 24hrs.
The Scope 240 with the enhanced strips at 200 watts and the HLG550 v1 at 200 watts.
It's still cold in there lol

Compost mixture and perlite and a sprinkle of Epsom salts.

I inspected the plants in the hut yesterday and found Spidermites on a couple of leaves.....
Scientific name: Tetranychus urticae
Order: Trombidiformes
Phylum: Arthropoda
Higher classification: Tetranychus
Rank: Species
Subclass: Acari

So I've sprayed with SB Plant Invigorator

71lR8j4Jw8L._AC_SY879_.jpg
It's a kill on contact spray but doesn't destroy the eggs.
I gave them all a good drenching, underside, stems, top side, pots and soil.
Spray has kicked the shit outta the population for now.
At least there were no webs.
That'll keep them under control until I order some predators on Monday.
Phytoseiulus, 2000 of them always works.
I could also use Ambyseius Andersoni predators. They can handle cold temperatures better than the Phytoseiulus.

One advantage of growing in cool temperatures is it slows the RSMs breeding cycle. Hurrah
The 'Borg' used to fill me with dread but now I laugh in their faces!

I've set the timer for 12 on 12 off so let the flowering begin....
I'd some nice temps in the tent with lights on 24hrs vegging lol
I'll post pics of temps with lights off in a few days to scare you all!

The lights are 24" - 600mm away from plants. Gonna see how they stretch into the light.
The plants have just been watered as they were bone dry
I gave the 4 plants a feed of 1.35 ec Tomatorite in 27 litres of water ~ 7 litres each.

Going in a new space, or adding/replacing in an existing one?
In place of the HLG550.
I'll get the apogee out next week and see what how many photons are raining down.
The New light fixture is 2ft x 39" or 610mm x 1m
Ideal for a 2ft x 4ft tent/area.
The other light fixture really needs lengthened out, I got it originally for an 80cm x 80cm - 32" x 32" tent.
The Heatsinks are great too, no more drilling and hand tapping threads like the old days.... lol. Bust a few bits back then!
The prices for strips are not bad now either.
