I got some insulation.
20191124_133130.jpg
Made a double skin air gap and Gorrilla taped and glue gunned down all edges.
2 pieces, 3.4m x 1.2m each.
2 sides covered and roof doubled up.
A couple of 1.2 x 2.4m celotex òr kingspan pir insulation boards to pick up next week and it's sorted.
That yellow bean bag must have an R value of about 30! It's full of polystyrene beads.

Temperatures rising after a couple of hrs.
20191124_204745.jpg
Temp gauge at base of plant, well shaded under the canopy.
Remote temp lead buried inside the canopy.

They are starting to perk up a bit now.

The enhanced Scope 240 is now set at full speed ~ 276 wall watts.
20191124_210622.jpg
At 20" - 50cm away the light is reading around 640 umols/s/m2 in the center of tent.
20191124_205249.jpg20191124_204718.jpg20191124_204722.jpg
So, at 275 watts, light height 20 inches, thats them going into flowering tomorrow.
Each plant is getting 600 umols at their centre.
I'll let them stretch up to into the stronger light.
Let's see what this light can do.
One way of looking at it would be to say 17 watts per sq ft.
This is my late veg/early flower tent, so they're in here for 3/4 weeks of flowering.
So far, so good :bigjoint:

@Moflow with careful growing 25 watts will bring the goods home. Keep the main buds at 8-12 inches and they will be solid. But im sure your aware of that any way,
Good to see your going to give this a good go. Im looking to run three shelves in 8ft height x 2.5ft deep x 4.8ft long. 2 shelves have been fun but there is more to be had when growing at home.

Still at 275 watts in the 4x4
Theyre coming round now, starting to green up.
I gave them a feed of 2ml / litre of Tomatorite a couple of days ago
Really starting to Bush out now and take over the 4 x 4 compared with a week ago.
I'm gonna clean them out and defoliate in a week or so.
From above..

Temperatures are getting colder outside now, frosts most nights but tent is temps around 20 - 22°C, 61F in tent, lights on and 12- 14°C, 55F lights off.
I'm allergic to VPD, AS SOON AS I Hear the V I just go

I can grow in these extremes because I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing and long may it continue. :bigjoint:

A bit of Gorrilla in the hut, 63 days flowering.

We've had snow since friday when the temps dropped from 8c to -4. At 1:30 am I realised I have an air intake thing in the grow room open to outside and I had to drive accross the city (well less than 4km actually) to check if lights off temps are ok. Luckily we can actually design buildings here and we have district heating so the room was at comfy 23c 8-) Day temps in the room are at 24c now.

Your plants definitely seem to be keeping a stiff upper lip though.

Lol.
Reminds me when i worked with an aul hand years ago and he sez when he was a child he shouted down to his Ma from his bed
'Ma I'm freezing,' .... she said..... 'throw another coat on the bed' Those were the days.
The young uns nowadays never had it so good :D
I imagine your running sealed and lights at night obviously?

Can be said the same about the new gen indoor grows, get all babied. I tell my plants to suck it up like your ancestors in the Afghan mountains! Lol

All fun and games when it's not for profit though ;-)

I only think of profit when I have way too much to just be sitting on... Mostly just to pay for the electric bill and supplies... I really do it because it's the only time that I really feel peace... It's just like people who own fish... You can watch them all day and escape from the madness for a while...

Yea, sorta sealed. I need to put a timer on the 3" pc fan outlet probably...
The original tent, a 32" x 32" 80cm x 80cm was far easier to control environmentally but the 4 x 4 is getting there.

All for fun and experimentation :D Too much work/stess doing commercial now, I only grow for me and swap out strains with a few mates.

Nature can be cruel, only the strong survive. They grow in very harsh conditions.
I've only ever killed two plants in the cold, on porpose, this year, here they are in real time, slowly dieing.
A CBD plant in the deck and a Kings Banner. Too dark out to show the CBD.
I'll bring in the Kings Banner to show it as it's in a pot...
