DIY with Quantum Boards

Hey ya i didnt realize ur in a tent. Ya temps can be a issue. As long as i had little fans blowing across back of boards temps wasnt a issue. I was just suggesting running them at max for light penetration. At about a foot little less i was gettn prime light to bout the top foot or foot n half.. This is my first yr of not doing outdoor since i started growing 20yrs ago. Im trying to get the medical card cause we wil b aloud to grow 5 plants. In 6months my state goes recreational finally but sucks cause they intially was gonna allow everyone to grow 5 but state police and other crooks in chicago bitchd saying it wood fuel the black market... Lol. Whatta joke.. But ya here in southern illinois we get pretty good conditions for growing from march threw october. Couple yrs ago i was able to let a Hawaiian skunk go til 2nd week of November being it was mostly sativa. Usually beginning October threw Halloween is harvest time here. If u put clones or starts from indoor out early u can get 2 outdoor harvest here. I had sum online buddies from ne back when google + was still up. They sent me sum beans and couple zips.. Ya i no but i just lost my whole set up with 6 months to go b4 legal. I got no tickets but took my quantums and my 3 biggest plants.. They didnt get the 8 zips i had buried but stil sucks.. But ive been here b4 and they wont stop me. Fuckn spineless bastards when theyd rather mess up a growers plans instead of all the meth labs or crack houses.. But Thats small town midwest politics for ya. ✌

How,do u get 2 harvests? The light schedule of the sun doesnt allow for flower until,mid July ?

A couple of pics of Day 54 of Pink Kush. Under QB288 V1 3000k and QB96e. Buds are rock hard and greasy. Smells of Hospital Flower Lemon Cleaner with Diesel Fuel Funk.

Light deprivation. Starting mom plants from seed, clone the ones u think are good. Put clones outdoors in small hoop houses with black thick plastic and camo tarps pulld over for theyre 12-12 . then just put moms out for your normal outdoor grow. For a early and late harvest. Moms wil b big cause u started early indoors while it was cold. I didnt do it this yr cause we moved but it can b done..i want to try a plant of growing and vegging indoors and then august first put her out to flower outdoors under that sun to finish just to see how it wood turn out.. But thx

Thats alot of work. If I had the ability to run experiments,in a rec state I would try some shit like this.
I have to be discreet though, so it's tough.
I have always wanted to try something like this except maybe the opposite. Start some now outside and bring them in in october before they get humongous and run em 12 12 until they are ready.
I was just gifted some fire seeds from the genourous folks over in paradise forum

What are the best diy LEDs I can buy on amazon? I see 4x qb 120 and 4x qb 132 boards that including driver are around $200, that's what I'm looking to spend pretty much, trying to keep it under $300

What's the differance between qb120 and qb132?

Is there a 3rd or 4th option I should look at?

I'm going to be lighting a 2x5 ish space that gets side lighting from a 1kw de gavita, the core light area will be 2x4 ish I really dont care about the 6 inches on eaither side it's just a open room so I extended my scrog screen to catch more light.
My scrogs are also not very thick in general, I've dabbled in double layer scrogs by my strains dont strech enough to do it, so my average bud over screen is 2-6 inches and nothing below.

There are suttle differences between the two. Including 120 leds on the qb120 and 132 on the qb132.
Either will work well.
More bang for your buck with the 132s. I got 2 sets of 4 in a 4x4 and it worked great.
I used the hlg240h1750b on each set. I got a 3k and a 4k set.
The driver runs around 60$ and the angle to mount the boards to is cheap at home depot.
