zeppelin definitely used old blues songs.. but so did a lot of people. and riffs. but without zeppelin, most people would of never knew those old songs. listen to some of the old zeppelin bootlegs.. theres a lot of songs that give credit to the original writers

If you take just the base melody, then yes. same, but not the riff.
