Answer the fucking question regarding why the Soviets didn't expose our fraud. Oh that's right...You weren't even alive then and you didn't have to "Duck and Cover" in school to prepare for a nuclear attack from the Soviet Union like I did. Answer why thousands of people trained their arrays and directly viewed the downlink from the moon because there was no video...only a direct feed in real time. Answer the liftoff of the Ascent Module weighing 10,000 lbs (of which I knew an engineer who worked on it) with only an engine generating 3500 lbs thrust.

1.6 m/s^2, which is the acceleration due to gravity on the moon....that does not mean footage of the moon at 6x will look like earths gravity........does a pendulum swing 6 times slower on the moon?...no it doesnt

It is not a major problem. The video equipment (camera and recording devices)of the time was large, heavy, and bulky. There was weight and space constraints on the LEM and it was much easier to transport a a small camera, antenna, and transmitter/receiver and let the people on Earth record to tape. In order to tape the hours of footage, they would have had to transport miles of videotape or film. The standard for videotape at the time was 2" format. Here's a pic of a Quad video recording machine....
The cabin itself was not much larger than a phone booth. All the footage that the world viewed at the time was from a direct downlink from the moon and many countries, including amateur astronomers received the feed. If the feed did not come from the moon, then where did these viewers train their arrays on? The telemetry would have been telling.

The reason why we sent Apollo 8 to the moon without testing is becasue the Soviet Union was preparing a rocket for launch and we at least wanted to get men in orbit before them. The Soviet rocket ended up exploding but Apollo 8 was successful.
As far a Zimbabwe, they could do it if they allocated the funding for it I'm sure. But Zimbabwe didn't have John F. Kennedy...
