The same reason people who claim to not want a racist in the White House but still voted for Biden. We're voting for who we think is the lesser of two evils.

If they really cared about that they wouldn't vote for Biden who gave a eulogy at an ex kkk members funeral, said Obama was the first mainstream clean articulate black man, said you need an indian accent to go into a 7-11 and told a black man he's not black if he doesn't know if he's voting for him or Trump.

Even though the 94 crime bill wasn't specifically intended for the black community, it definitely disproportionately impacted them.

Biden would never support the first step act that let hundreds of black people out of prison that were there for minor crimes. He also wouldn't have secured 250 million in funding for HBCUs either.
You have difficulty staying on topic, I see. Autism disorder perhaps?

You told us that you prefer Trump over and I'm asking why you excuse Trump's and the Republican's party's crime of conspiracy to defraud the presidential election.

I already told you. I believe he's the lesser of two evils so i have to excuse some things just like Biden supporters have to excuse all of the things I mentioned.

Well its 6:30pm in Ireland so its time to get drunk and beat my wife since that's what people like me do ya know.

We shall do it again sometime.

Actually, you just say bbbut Biden. You did not give a reason to excuse the commission of the crime to defraud the electors of this country.

I understand why you won't answer my question. There is no good excuse. Trump broke the law. The OP says it best.

You are in denial. Trump lost in a fair election. There is no evidence of fraud other than the fraud being investigated by the 1/6 committee and the state AG's investigating the fake electoral certificates.. Trump's own appointees to the courts have rejected claims of fraud because no evidence was presented. 60 lost cases. It isn't because the "courts wouldn't look at it." They looked at it 60 times. Filings errors can be corrected. Nobody commits a court error then repeats the same error 59 more times.
This thread isn't about Biden, no matter how much you want to make it be so. It's about a president who attempted the overthrow of the US government. Also, given how large a load of shit you had to swallow in order to excuse their actions, I can understand why you want to talk about Biden. But this thread is about Trump and a simple declaration backed up with fact that says -- you are in denial -- triggered you.

For that, I laugh at you.

Yeah another 'both sides' foreign troll.

Biden has a speech impediment and anyone that really has any actual shits to give instead of just swallowing the right wing propaganda could just watch his speeches/press events and unless they are cherry picking a couple seconds here and there, would see that Biden is on top of what is going on.

I remember when politics werent allowed on grow sites. Dam shame they allow it now
Really, because this one has posts going back to 2006. When was this 'time before'?

Maybe it was like way, way back before the internet and stuff.
It is really quite easy to just not read the politics forum threads and not participate in them if they bring out your inner snowflake. It is kinda entertaining when people don’t follow that advice though.

Thats great that you would take a dementia patient over Trump, you got him. I feel the opposite but its a wonderful thing that we're able to have those opinions.
are you really stupid enough to not realize they examine the president regularly, and the first time they actually found evidence of dementia they would retire him on medical grounds and Harris would take over? i'll take the opinion of doctors from walter reed over yours.....

What are you referring to? Bidens decling mental state, the insurrection or the hypocritical BLM leaders who only make an appearance around election time and don't do anything to help the black community?
Biden probably is declining but his speaking isn't the greatest indicator of mental decline. He stumbles with words but stays focused and answers multi-part questions. If speaking patterns are a concern you would have noticed the word salads by Trump. Trump was on Hannity the other day. Hannity was lobbing the softballs & tried to lead Trump into saying all of Biden's policies were failing but he keeps repeating them. He then said, "It's banging your head against a wall". All Trump heard was "wall" & went on a 5 minute lie-filled rant about "the wall". Hannity was mute until the end of course because nobody can correct Trump without paying a price. He just let the idiot rant.

BLM leaders came out upon the multiple deaths in their community. When Kaepernick bent a knee he was criticized and blackballed. He was told it was un-American & to go somewhere else to protest, where it doesn't bother people. The VP of the USA came to a game on taxpayer dollars just to protest his protest. When you victimize people and then tell them to shut up they will get louder. Expect that. White people are getting violent over vaccine mandates & CRT which isn't even taught in schools. They've been riled up by Fox & pols.

BTW, if you actually believe that BLM leaders don't do anything for their community it's obvious that you don't care to see what their doing. You've made no effort at all. You're comfortable judging them from afar.

I'm not a hardcore Trump supporter like a lot of his followers but I would definitely take him over Biden.

I agree all of these people claiming widespread fraud are delusional and need to move on. I think there is probably some fraud in every election but not enough to affect the outcome. I don't think Biden got so many votes because that many people like him, I just think theres that many people that hate Trump.

A common arguement is well there's states that are working to de-certify the electoral votes. When I try to explain thats not how this works and that doesnt have any legal significance they just don't get it.
That's why it's called Report Card Election for an incumbent.

This is a bit off topic, but I'll share my own personal experience. I have a friend with a stutter and whenever I go to his place to talk Amps and guitars, as he builds both, it's an exercise in both patience and awareness. Patience speaks for itself, but being aware of the key words that sets off the issue and attempting to avoid those circumstances helps a lot. He's been working on correcting this his entire life and it's still a tough one for him. Gotta give props to Biden for how he's kept it really low key. There's a lot of discipline involved in avoiding specific words and phrases.

The people that make fun of this shit can go fuck themselves.

If Biden cares he sure has a strange way of showing it. I don't like the guy but I can't help but feel a little bad when I see him speak. I think his wife shoukd be ashamed of herself for supporting him since he obviously isn't all there anymore.

I disagree with January 6th just as much as i do with the riots that went on for 6 months. The left makes excuses saying the riots were for social justice and the right will say its justified because it wasnt a fair election. I call bullshit on both of those claims.

I have lived in Ireland since 2017 anyways so luckily I have been able to avoid all of the bullshit.
You do know that many of the rioters that were causing havoc were right wingers, infiltrating the protests??

When the police station got burned in Wisconsin, it was a right winger from Texas that went to Wisconsin and burned the station down.

Officials Say White Supremacists Infiltrated Black Lives Matter Protest in Richmond to Instigate Riots

Over the weekend protests across the country became violent as outside agitators and federal officers escalated violence against otherwise peaceful Black Lives Matter protests.

This included protests in Richmond, Virginia, where peaceful demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday night turned violent following infiltration of the protests by white supremacists, according to local officials.

“There were white supremacists marching under the banner of Black Lives Matter, attempting to undermine an otherwise overwhelmingly peaceful movement towards social justice,” said Mayor Levar Stoney during a Sunday news conference, according to the Washington Post.

Police are now investigating incidents that took place over the weekend, causing property damage and a city dump truck to be set on fire. Police Chief Gerald M. Smith told reporters that fliers promoting the rallies and people arrested over the weekend came from outside of Richmond.

The Boogaloo boys, who were photographed attending the Richmond protests, are a group of anti-government right-wing extremists who have taken advantage of social justice activism to cause chaos. A member of the group, which promotes cop-killing rhetoric, is currently facing murder charges for the death of two law enforcement officers in June during Black Lives Matter rallies in California.

LEAKED DOCUMENTS SHOW POLICE KNEW FAR-RIGHT EXTREMISTS WERE THE REAL THREAT AT PROTESTS, NOT “ANTIFA”
An analysis of leaked law enforcement documents reveals an obsession with “antifa” despite evidence of threats of violence to police and protesters.

AS PROTESTS AGAINST police violence spread to every state in the U.S. and dramatic images flooded in from cities across the country, President Donald Trump and his attorney general spun an ominous story of opportunistic leftists exploiting a national trauma to sow chaos and disorder. They were the anti-fascists known as “antifa”, and according to the administration they were domestic terrorists who would be policed accordingly.

But while the White House beat the drum for a crackdown on a leaderless movement on the left, law enforcement offices across the country were sharing detailed reports of far-right extremists seeking to attack the protesters and police during the country’s historic demonstrations, a trove of newly leaked documents reveals.

Among the steady stream of threats from the far-right were repeated encounters between law enforcement and heavily armed adherents of the so-called boogaloo movement, which welcomes armed confrontation with cops as means to trigger civil war. With much of the U.S. policing apparatus on the hunt for antifa instigators, those violent aspirations appear to have materialized in a string of targeted attacks in California that left a federal protective services officer and a sheriff’s deputy dead and several other law enforcement officials wounded.

The cache of law enforcement materials was recently hacked and posted online under the title “BlueLeaks,” providing an unprecedented look at the communications between state, local, and federal law enforcement in the face of the nationwide protests. In an analysis of nearly 300 documents that reference “antifa,” The Intercept found repeated instances of antifa and left-wing protesting activities cast in cartoonishly grim terms alongside more substantive reports of lethal right-wing violence and threats that have received scant mention from top Trump administration officials.

German argued that the impulse to paint both sides of the political spectrum with the same brush, despite the fact that only the far right is actively killing people, is among the most dangerous features of modern American law enforcement. In his review of the documents produced in response to the recent protests, German said purported “threats” from antifa were routinely overblown, often framed vandalism as terrorism and were typically absent of concrete evidence of serious criminal activity.
“It’s chatter, it’s ‘intelligence reporting suggests,’” he said. On June 2, for example, the Department of Homeland Security circulated a tweet to law enforcement agencies across the country reporting that antifa was stashing bricks to “fuel protests.” The intelligence made its way to a law enforcement fusion center in Maine. Last week, Mainer magazine tracked down the original source of the tweet: a far-right, pro-Trump biker who goes by the name “the Wolfman,” who claimed that Facebook kept deleting his brick-planting evidence “because they are BLM supporters.”
Even if antifa were staging bricks, German said, “you have these heavily armed groups right there, who have a much more direct and lengthy history of violence than anything antifa or anarchist-involved does.” Unlike the information circulated about antifa, much of the intelligence reporting in the BlueLeaks documents regarding threats from the far right is tightly focused on specific events, German noted. “That’s the way it should be,” he said. Far-right extremists have been targeting and killing law enforcement, not to mention members of the general public, for generations, German explained, and in fact, the government’s own documents show that those ideas were percolating in extremist corners of the right at the same time that Trump and U.S. Attorney General William Barr were preparing to crack down on the left.

While antifa has been a right-wing boogeyman for years, the administration’s rhetoric ramped up in late May, with Trump tweeting that he would designate the movement as a terrorist organization. Barr followed the tweet with a Department of Justice statement reporting that federal investigators would work to “identify criminal organizers and instigators” who were “hijacking” the protests, and warning that “the violence instigated and carried out by Antifa and other similar groups in connection with the rioting is domestic terrorism and will be treated accordingly.”

In the weeks since Barr’s statement was issued, The Intercept has published accounts of FBI agents in multiple states targeting individuals with a perceived relationship to antifa for interviews and potential informant work. Meanwhile, the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, an official fundraising arm of the president, has been running campaign ads urging donors to send money to show support for the administration’s antifa enforcement campaign.

Yet the leaked materials show that on May 29, two days before Trump tweeted that antifa would be labeled a terrorist organization and Barr issued his DOJ statement, the president’s own DHS analysts issued an open source intelligence report detailing how a white supremacist channel on Telegram, an encrypted messaging service, was encouraging followers to capitalize on the unrest by targeting the police with Molotov cocktails and firearms.

“The use of firearms greatly influences the scale and intensity of these events,” a source in the group, titled “National Accelerationist Revival,” wrote on May 27, advising followers to break police lines “with cocktails, chainsaws, and firearms.” At the time, DHS reported, the group included more than 3,400 subscribers. “Looting and shoplifting are both cool and whites should be doing it way more,” the source went on. “When the laws no longer benefit you, break them for personal gain. If you don’t feel like buying something, steal it. If you don’t feel like driving slow, drive fast. If you don’t like someone, hurt them.”

“We ought to revel in the destruction of the police state,” they wrote. “It is just as necessary to break down the police state and the system of control as it is to spread racial hatred.”
